been about a year since the last visit to this OG. still the same....food was very good this time, not dried out....had to ask for extra salad dressing as the salad was a little underdressed....waiter was friendly and seemed attentive, but a little on the slow moving side.....been to better OG's than this one...
The move from the old location to the new one was a good move for Ambler Pizza- better seating, and a better set-up for the kitchen. I especially like the Italian or veggie strombolis; even the small is a serious meal for two. The pizzas are good too -- our family prefers the medium-crust pizza here over the thin-crust greasy variety at some nearby places.

Welcome to Bacco, a Neapolitan family trattoria specializing in homemade Italian dishes and wines. The name Bacco is Italian for "Bacchus", the mythological god of "good times" who taught mortals the celebration of the grapes and living every day to the f
My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday around 2:30 pm. Our first visit. Loved the Sinatra style music playing. We sat in a comfortable leather booth in the bar area. I had a peach martini that was delicious! The Italian wedding soup was excellent. The house salad was good but a little heavy on dressing. The chicken parm was huge! Very good. I had a seafood dish with pasta that was excellent. Service was good. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

We normally just get pizza or cheesesteaks, which are always good. This time we opted for items from the regular menu and were very disappointed. Short rib stuffed ravioli with creamy mushroom sauce was a mistake. The sauce was dark brown, no mushrooms and clearly from a jar. The side salad was pathetic, picked over iceberg wilted and with brown areas, a sad, soft tomato slice (in July!) and that was it. No imagination and not fresh. The place also needs a good cleaning.

I had the filet mignon and it was perfect. the deserts are excellent. I highly recommend this cozy Italian restaurant. we had six of us seated with plenty of space to move around. the noise level was not so high you could not hear each other. we laughed, drank, talked and ate till our hearts content.

There are three "From the Boot" restaurants, all in the Philadelphia area.
While on business in the Philadelphia area, my working associate and myself decided we wanted to try some local Italian food since we were in the philly area and there's no shortage of Italian restaurants. We decided on a place local to the hotel we were stayingat in Ft. Washington pa, called " from the boot". We decided to go a little early because e were not sure of the dinner crowd in this area, so got to the restaurant around 5:30 and were seated right away. Glad we went early because by 6:15 the place was crowded. Nice place, good atmosphere and really good service. Looking at the menu, it's typical fare for an Italian restaurant, but not always prepared the same as others. I ordered the ceasar salad to start and the pappardelle and steak for dinner. My associate ordered the meatballs to start and the chicken piazolle for dinner. Service was quick and friendly. They bring out a basket of garlic bread to each table complimentary, very tasty. Full bar available for cocktails or spirits. The salad and meatballs came out within 10 minutes and both looked and tasted very good. The dinners arrived just after finishing the apps and both looked wonderful. Preparation and presentation were both a 9 out of 10. These dishes were well thought out and tasted soooo good. The papardelle and steak I ordered was prepared with a white wine sauce the was so great, if you put it on a flip flop it would taste good. Really, that good. The chicken piazolle was prepared with a sauce that was also very tasty. Neither of us had any complaints about or dining experience. I will go back again when I'm in the area next time to try other dishes.

We have visited frequently and only reviewed a few times which have been for the most part positive. This visit was just not up to our expectation based on previous visit. The waiter, a regular, had too much attitude. The food ordered from fish to pasta was either over or under cooked and not acceptable at any price especially at prices that are relative high. We have had some dishes that missed on previous visits but this evening the entire experience was unsatisfactory. It can happen anywhere anytime but we will opt out for a few months based on this last performance.I am so sorry for your experience, I wish I would of know that night. I am so sorry that it took me so long to respond. Please let me know the next time you visit and allow me to ensure you get the best that we offer. - Toto

The dinner exceeded my expectations. I've heard rumors that the restaurant was closing or being sold so I was a little worried that the quality and/or service may be lacking. The bartender was friendly, attentive and make great drinks. The live piano player added a nice touch to the ambiance. Our waiter Fernando could not have been nicer or more prepared. He memorized what seemed like 20 dinner specials. The food was outstanding and priced accordingly.Would definitely return! The ambiance is old world Italian, but felt very comfortable and homey.Thank You! We really appreciate your 5 star review and are so happy to hear we were able to provide a great experience for you. We will share your feedback and kind words with our staff. Thank you for your business, we hope you stop back in to see us again soon.

In a fading strip of stores sits a restaurant with fabulous food and right on service. 8 of very long time friends with BYOB in hand descended upon this rather small establishment. The ambiance is nice in spite of being a little crowded between tables. All of us delighted in our meals. We all had doggie bags. The food is reasonably priced served hot and timely. We already had a date to return.

there were 8 of us and we ordered just about everything on the menu. Everything was great! Not a bad word to say about this place.
