We had six in our party and fortunately we were seated fairly promptly. There was a long wait for a servor and a series of long waits througout the meal. However, in all fairness, the place was crowded. The food was very well prepared and quite tasty. Three of us had tortellini dishes and the pasta was clearly home made. This restaurant does not take reservations; however, I would recommend that they consider this option which may alleviate some issues.

Ask your server what is made in house and stick with those options for the best food. The eggplant parm sub and lasagna were great. You'll have two meals if you get either of those. Shrimp cocktail appetizer is a generous portion of shrimp on a plate with ice. The cocktail sauce has a bit of a spicy zing, but it's good. The spaghetti bolognese was one meatball crumbled in two cans of tomato sauce over pasta and sausages were salty so steer clear of those two comfort classics. Food prices were more than fair. Bump up liqueur cocktails were $8.00. Dinner for four, four drinks, two appetizers, sodas, with tax ran just above $100 before tip. 4 star Italian compared to other rural Italian eateries; 3 star for urban area Italian restaurants.
Rita's has locations all over the place. I usually go to the one in Whitehall or Perkasie, as they are closest to places I visit frequently. This is hands-down the best place to go for dessert in the Lehigh Valley/Philadelphia region (and that's saying something, because god, does this area know junk food). Try the gelati: a layer of super-creamy soft serve custard followed by a thick layer of your favorite ice, topped with more custard. Blueberry and strawberry ice are my personal favorites, but they also have classics like cherry and lemon, as well as oddities such as mango and root beer. It's pretty difficult to go wrong with any of them.

A full service Italian/Continental Steak House in an 1860's Civil War Mansion. Servicing lunch/dinner with a full bar, original Absinthe & a late night Speakeasy.
I had the best Gyro made with Chicken Tikka and a mildly spicy sauce that was perfect! And it was served downstairs so donât be shy about asking for the upstairs menu.
The owners are from Italy and have brought traditional Italian food to our area, where it is not as common as some the larger cities. Everything I have tried, has been great, and is usually made to order. The restaurant is easy to find, near Rt 248 on Rt 963. There don't sell beer or wine, but you can BYO.

The family-owned Mamas Italian Grill, established in 2012, serves an array of authentic and homemade Italian cuisine.
Just tried their Pumpkin pizza... that's right... it's savory not sweet and very good. My co-workers and my self frequent this place for lunch at least once a month. Great people! Very friendly. Great food!

So a couple of years ago, I had a discussion with a student of mine who is from the Allentown area. We got talking about the two famous, rival Philadelphia cheesesteak places in downtown Philly, and I asked him which one he thought was better. He quickly replied that neither of them was the best; the best cheesesteak was at D'Sopranos! We decided to meet him there with his and my family, and test this claim. As it turns out, he may be right... In any case, it's better than the aforementioned famous places in Philly itself (though to be fair, these here are Italian cheesesteaks). Recommended!

Our family stopped to use the restroom in Lorenzo's after the mean woman next door wouldn't let us (We didn't buy gas or drinks at the store, as a result). The good people at Lorenzo's let us use the restroom, so be bought drinks. During that time, the food smelled so good, we ended up eating lunch. We had pizza and Stromboli. The Cheese Steak Stromboli is the bomb! One time, I tried to bring one back to Oklahoma in a cooler - but it wasn't the same.Anyway, an act of kindness turned into a meal for 5 people. Thanks, Lorenzo's! I wish you were in Oklahoma.

This is my second time here and I am floored at how good it is. It's like a perfect little secret here tucked away in this town. I had the gnocchi fantasy, a salad and bread. The portion sizes are huge, the prices are great and the food is delicious and fresh. I love gnocchi and you really have to get it right.. This place does that. It gets it perfectly right. Highly recommend.
