Went there after seeing lots of recommendations we went and the antipasto was good although they do not have a vinegar and oil type dressing. The schwarma (beef) was very good but the gyro was disappointing, lack of meat and the tahini sauce as lacking and runny. Had to wait for an extended time to pay the check too, only one watiress,

If you like thin crust pizza done right, this is the place to come. Found it years ago when my son attended a nearby school. We quickly preferred it over other pizza shops. The lovely thin crust has a lovely light tasting tomato sauce , not heavy like other shops. It's a nice contrast to the cheese and toppings. Top everything with friendly staff and it's no wonder it is top rated in the area every year!!

I really like Olive Garden. The decor is attractive, service is friendly, they have close up disabled parking, and their food is generally good. The one thing I don't like is their prices. I chose the lunch combo because it is one of the few items that is reasonable in price. My chicken and cheese piadina was filling, and came with salad and breadsticks, however, what I really wanted was salmon, but the asking price seemed too high for lunch. My sister had intended to have one of the specials, but refused to pay that much for lunch so she got a chicken dish with a lemon sauce, which was more reasonable in cost. We don't mind spending more for dinner, but nearly $20 for a dish at lunchtime seems absurd. Olive Garden needs to have more items that are in the $10-$12 for those of us who no longer have huge appetites, but still like to eat out.
To go or dine in. Pizza, subs, homemade pastas dishes, gluten free options available, salads, catering service. BYOB
My church orders Brother's Pizza every 6 weeks for our Catalyst Meetings. Everyone knows to get to the meeting early or the pizza will be gone. Brother's has the absolute BEST garbage pizza anywhere and their White pizza is pretty awesome too! The pizza isn't greasy and the cheese blend they use is just right. In the restaurant - both the McSherrystown and Bonneauville locations, the staff is very friendly. The restaurants are very clean also.
Johnny and Rude's is a 50's style themed Pizza Parlor and Grill. Holding true to the Jersey Roots. With classic's such as the "Italian Hot Dog" and "Fresh Steamed Burgers". We pride ourselves on not being a Franchise and Family Owned. Come check us out!!
We stopped to grab a quick lunch and we were not disappointed! We both ordered the lunch special (1/2 sub, fries & can of soda for $6.95). The 1/2 sub was bigger than we expected and the roll was fresh and light. The chicken cheesesteaks were delicious along with the crinkle fries. Our server, Olivia, was friendly and helpful. The owners both took the time to say hello and share a bit of their story. We will definitely be back! Another plus...they deliver!!!
Stopped in for the first time to grab a quick bite. In the immediate area, there arenât many options without driving to East Berlin (east), New Oxford (south), York Springs (North), or Gettysburg (west). The diner next across the parking lot is only open for breakfast. With that said, we found the restaurant to be clean, friendly service, and a broad menu. Prices were reasonable with good quality and portion. There seems to be a good takeout business based on our time there, but they have dine in as well. There did not appear to be any delivery service.

We were traveling and kept our Friday night tradition with pizza. Locals recommend this restaurant for pizza. Self seating, waitress gave good service. Recommend salad and pizza, made exactly as we like it. Very affordable. No bar or alcohol service there. Would recommend and return.

We spotted this restaurant so we decided to get take-out. I had the meatball sub, which tasted okay, but was skimpy in the cheese and meatball department. On the other hand, my sister's choice of a roast beef sub was excellent. We also shared a personal-size pizza with cheese, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes, which gave it a different taste. The pizza seemed to give the new hostess a problem so the owner had to handle it, which he did with efficiency. There's plenty of seating and parking so this pizzeria deserves another visit.

I had been hearing for months about how fantastic this place is. Being born and raised in NY but having lived in Pa for 25 years, I had yet to find an Italian place that would even come close to NY or Italy for that matter - that is until La Fonte entered my life. The owner and her daughter are super friendly and Mama treats you like family. She may brag about her cooking, but once you taste it you'll realize she's earned every right to brag and then some. I had the Bolognese, my son had the chicken Parmesan, my husband and our other friends had the gorgonzola sauce over pasta and they were all phenomenal. Needless to say, I highly, highly, recommend this place and hope to make it a once a month visit. Go, you won't regret it - the only regret I have is waiting so long.
