My wife and I stumbled on this place when we were looking for a place to eat and were kinda lost. When we arrived, we seated ourselves and were quickly given a menu. We ordered water and cheese bread. We didn't realize that every table receives an order of garlic bread with a butter dipping sauce when you order in. The garlic bread was good and the sauce was also very tasty. We then received our order of the cheese bread which was like a giant stuffed crust. It was filled with mozzarella and the top was sprinkled with parmesean cheese. It was so fresh, hot, flakey, and the marinara dipping sauce was awesome. It was the best cheese bread we've ever had. We also ordered the medium Chicken, ranch, bacon pizza. This was the best pizza we've ever had. It was so flavorful and full of toppings. It was also so filling. What we ordered could have easily fed a family of 4 or 5. We only ate 2 1/2 slices of the 8 slice pizza and brought home half our cheese bread. There was only one sever for 3 different tables. She was great and so friendly. I also ordered the black cherry soda. That was also awesome and refreshing. I will definitely come back here again if I'm in the area.

We made a reservation here for dinner on July 4th. We were at Station Square for a Gateway Clipper Fleet ferry tour and wanted to stay for fireworks, so this seemed perfect. Our family of four loves Italian food, so we had high expectations. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated on schedule. Our server was very pleasant, but provided mediocre service. Our entire meal took TWO hours. We got an appetizer (thank goodness) within a reasonable period of time, but our entrees took well over an hour to arrive. We only ordered a small bowl of spaghetti marinara, kid fettuccine Alfredo, and kid chicken Parmesan...thatâs it. By the time the entrees arrived, it was about 8:45pm and we had lost interest. The spaghetti marinara was disappointing anyway. The fettuccine Alfredo was tasty and the chicken portion of the chicken Parmesan was good. We left a lot of food behind and never considered dessert. Families at tables in our section were also disgusted at how long the food was taking to arrive. One couple (just TWO people!) told a server as they left that the food was fine but that they had been there for 2.5 hours and they found that unacceptable. They didnât appear understaffed...Iâm not sure what the issue was. The ambience was interesting with millions of interesting wall hangings to look at, but the air was stuffy and I was happy to finally get outside for fresh air after sitting inside for two hours without windows. Overall, I wouldnât return.Thank you, Johanna, for choosing to dine with us at Buca di Beppo. It's been over 5 years since we were last here. The food is very good especially for the quantity and the quality. The service was excellent as well. they have plenty of servers on hand and you shouldn't have any trouble with that part of your meal. My wife had the ravioli and it was excellent. I had the vesl parmesan and it was done very well also. My only nit pick is the side of pasta that comes with my meal was the sauce. The sauce used was best suited for children. Very little flavor and no spice taste at all. I compare this to the sauce that my wife had with her ravioli and the ravioli by far was out- standing. Very popular place with the locals. You'd be do well to get here between 4 and 5. We drove by here a couple of days later at 6 and there were roughly 20 people standing in line outside to get in which means the waiting area inside was also very crowded. The facility and looks big on the outside, but really only holds about 50 or 60 people inside. They also do not take reservations. So wait is inevitable if you get there much later. Thanks JIm for the great rating. We value for your opinion and thank you for the kind words. We are always working hard to give our customers the best quality of food and service that you deserve

Our first visit , and glad we happened upon it. The chicken parmigiana portion was huge it came with a side of pasta (the sauce was a bit sparse) salad and two large pieces of garlic bread. We also order a slice of pizza to try , that was very good. Itâs a bit older restaurant but it works. Our food was brought out promptly and servers were friendly and efficient. Overall very pleased.

Good Times Rolled...Pittsburgh's Arancini Artisans...Helping the World Fall in Love with Sicilian Street Food.
Stopped in for a quick lunch since I was in the building for a meeting. What a great little find!! All the food is homemade. The rice balls looks yummy but I got a pepperoni roll. They had several different choices. It was delicious and full of pepperoni! Would definitely stop back if I'm in the area. Thanks for the kind words! We hope to see you soon :-)

My friend and I were celebrating her birthday by having lunch at Calabria's Restaurant. Her birthday was the day after Easter so this was delayed. We both choose the Pittsburgh Salad and thought it was very good. It was an ample supply of fresh goodies. I choose to add chicken on mine and that was very good. I try to eat "clean" and we choose this restaurant because of their reputation. Service was attentive and we did not have to wait to be seated. We will definitely go back. The only drawback was the parking lot. It can be difficult to pull out onto the main street.

We ordered a regular pizza with spinach and mushrooms. The ingredients were good, but the pizza was prepared extremely poorly. We could tell the tomato sauce tasted good, but it appeared to be dabbed on to our pizza instead of slathered on. Also, the allotment of cheese was very chintzy. As a result, our pizza was very dry. If the right amount of ingredients were put on, I believe it would have been a very good pizza, but we will never know. And for $20 a pizza, I'm sure not going to be giving them another try.

A local said we should have pizza at the Pittsburgh family owned pizzeria We took our church volleyball team here and the pies lived up to the expectation We came from columbus to win the tourney and got award winning pizza also The staff was very helpful and make the pies out in the open so you can watch which lead to many a hunger kid. This is an old school place. So take cash and get ready for an off the hook thin or thick pie. Opa opa opa
