The buffet isn't too bad... my teenage son & his friends like it. Overall, the pizza almost always makes me sick. The service is, again, just okay. There is plenty of parking (which is often difficult to find in Gettysburg and therefore, worth mentioning). They are almost never busy so the restaurant is not crowded or loud. Overall, you get what you pay for!

Walking in to Little Italy V you'll find your average local pizza joint atmosphere, nothing fancy but when you're hungry and your kids are tired and antsy after a long day it's the perfect kind of atmosphere. The staff was all really friendly. We just had pizza and some appetizers but the marinara was outstanding and the pizza crust was perfect. A little crispy on the bottom but still chewy and light and amazing. I go through the area a couple times a year for work and I'll definitely be stopping by again.

We absolutely love their pizza and try to stop whenever we go through Emmitsburg. With that being said....this last time we ordered lasagna. Yuck. We didn't even eat it all. Let's just say pasta, meat, and sauce with slices of cheese melted over it is NOT lasagna. We will be back for the pizza but no pasta.

As others note, Antica Napoli is not fancy, just solid food from a friendly and welcoming owner/operator Iggy. The pizza is great, and I only wish I left leftovers to enjoy tomorrow morning. Located on the historic rail line, between downtown Gettysburg and the college, you will love supporting this locally owned business.

Every place in town was full so we went into Mammas. They always seem to have tables available. The hostess whisperes a greeting to us, sat us, whispered something else then continued to sing to herself around the resturant. It was weird but turned out she was sweet just weird. First impression wasnt going weell. The menu was dirty and looked dated. It looked like the menu you get at one of those large diners. It had alot on it. Next was the silverware. It was the cheapest worst kind a resturant can have. I honestly think a nice fork makes a difference whether you know it or not. We started with the bruchetta. It was excellent! It was great bread and a large serving platter. It looked as good as it tasted. I would go back just for this. If a customer is dining with you why then hell would you serve salad dressing in a plastic cup with the lid on??? It cheapens the meal as much as crappy utencils. For dinner we had veal marsala. It didnt have alot of flavor. The veal was hand breaded but not cooked on high enough heat so the breadding had a sog factor. We had the ravioli. The pasta was thin and cooked very well. Dessert was AMAZING. It was a lemon cake with fresh berry compote or something like that. It was great. All the desserts in the case looked great. Mammas has a full bar. Our server was very nice and seemed as if she has been there awhile. Mammas in larger then in appears outside. Even though the menus looked dirty the restutant did not. When I went to the ladies room I peeked in the kitchen and it looked clean and welcoming. I would go back. I hope my review was helpful, if so please click "yes"!!

My husband and I called in an order for a pizza. When he went to pick it up the person at the counter ignored him and said he did not have the order. Finally when the others in line had been waited on, the pizza that was left, cold of course by now, was given to him. Very unpleasant people all 3 times we have gone. We will not go again.

Overall very good food. Most of the fried foods are frozen, but the sandwiches and pizza are fresh and homemade. Recommend the grilled chicken sub! Menu is varied, which is great. Prices are decent for most items. Friendly staff and clean! Just be prepared to wait because they make all food to order.

How can they make good Italian food in Gettysburg? ..Yup, that was my state of mind. The food was very good. The service just as good Nice people. Nice Place. Easy parking. Just like going around the corner to your favorite Italian "joint". I won't return...I would if it weren't hundreds of miles away..

Have passed this establishment many times going up to the Gettysburg area but usually have already eaten or on our way to eat somewhere else but this time made a point to stop and I am glad we did. The pizza itself was great, the crust was on the crunchy side but airy and flavorful especially along the edges and not that hard chewy crust most pizza establishments have, also decided to take along a canoli for later. The staff was pleasant and on top of things, the prices were reasonable will definitely go back when in the area
