Who knew? A teeny tiny restaurant in Ardmore, mainly geared for take-out Chinese cuisine, had the best General Tso Chicken and the tastiest Seafood Combination Stir-Fry I've ever had! Trust me, I've travelled throughout China and sampled a good amount of Chinese cuisine, Pak Yue's food was an authentic diaspora of Chinese (Hunanese, Cantonese) down to the 3 little old Chinese cooks. What a treat! The place is tiny, so it's best to take-out, but there are 2 small tables inside if you'd prefer to dine there.

We ordered take out for Valentineâs Dayâwe absolutely love this place! Iâm working my way through the various special rolls. My wife went with the orange walnut beef and we were both blown away by how tasty this dish was! The steamed pork buns are also very good. Definitely excited to come back for more!

Our family went to the playground so the kids could play for awhile. Naturally they were hungry afterwards. My youngest declared he wanted Chinese food. I wanted to eat in. This restaurant was excellent. Food was excellent, came with pot of tea that was refreshing. We brought home enough leftovers for another dinner the next day.

Decent local chinese food. Nothing crazy, just basic. Try the pizza rolls.

We've been steady customers at Hunan for 7 years now, and have never had a bad meal. The menu is concise, about 7-8 choices for each protein - shrimp, chicken, beef, fish, etc. Vegetarians are welcome, you just have to check that the sauce is also vegetarian. Soups are delicious here, the best and most flavorful Wonton soup and a spicy hot Hot and Sour Soup, I often order them mixed, which is like the best of both worlds. Unlike most Asian restaurants, sauces are delicate, flavorful, and enhance the fresh well prepared vegetables and meats. They don't cover/hide anything, like the gloppy too thick sauces at most Chinese restaurants. If you love a dish today, it will be the same the next time you order it, a real plus.Favorites are the Steak and Snap Peas, Shrimp and Black Bean Sauce (even if it isn't on the menu, ask for it!) and Lo Meins. Parking is easy and your car is very safe, Police station right next door. We highly recommend this place, and after 7 years, so do all our friends! PS - all the art on the walls was painted by the owner, and it's his family working here.

Ordered two different chicken meals and found the meat to be a very low quality. The egg roll and spring roll lacked substance. The interior of the restaurant was outdated and seemed dirty. We will not be returning to this restaurant in havertown as there are much better options.

Iâve tried this place twice so far and Iâm still not sure. I think I will give them one more try. Weâve tried their wonton soup, pork fried rice, shrimp lomein, red curry tofu, four seasons and chicken teriyaki. The soup is pretty good. The lomein was ok- it was a little greasy, the pork fried rice was ok- the pork was different- it was very little pieces of pork that looked more like beef but tasted like pork... my daughter really liked the red curry tofu. The four seasons was ok and chicken teriyaki was ok. I thought the chicken was a little tough and hard to cut the huge pieces of chicken. All in all the food was ok. Nothing spectacular but not terrible. The service here was very odd. The water glasses were filled and slammed on the table (all of them). The duck sauce was sort of tossed onto the table. When I asked for more crispy noodles I was grunted at but we were brought more. The meals didnât come out together and were brought before I was even done my soup. My familyâs empty plates were whisked away quickly while I was still eating my meal (and I am not a slow eater). They werenât busy - there was one other table occupied on a Thursday night when we were here. Before I finished my meal I asked for more water- all of us had empty water glasses- and again I was met with the grunt. I did not feel welcome here, the staff was not friendly at all. I donât need them to ask how I am or ask how my day was- I was just looking for a smile and not a scowl. From my daughterâs vantage point she could see them texting on their cell phones in clear sight. We all felt a bit put off by their attitudes. Maybe I could understand it more if they were busy and stressed, and maybe they were earlier in the day which is why I will probably try them again. For a new business you would think they would be on their A game. If you are in a big hurry this is a good place to go. We were out in about a half hour.
The food here is reasonbly priced and very good. The best is the lady that runs the place she is always sweet and if she knows you she will do anything she can for you...she did save my Families Christmas one year...true story

Our family always goes to this restaurant or gets takeout. The food is always consistently good and fresh. We still continue to come here even though we have moved. Other restaurants that we have tried in our area donât compare to this place and feel that we will be going out of our way to continue to come here. Try for yourself and see!!

They have 3/4 locations in and around Philadelphia area. The one on Lancaster is the best. I tried the Seafood in Birds Nest. It came in a too cute edible bowl. I loved the combination of all seafoods and some greens. Dumpling was good too. Nice and clean restaurant.
