Tuesday is Bacon Night.
We arrived during early during happy hour for dinner so most menu apps were $5 and there were drink specials as well. We had the calamari (great), Lobster/crab Mac & cheese (phenomenal - easily shared between 2 or 3 people), Carnitas Mac & cheese (awesome - also extremely huge), the Totchos (good, not great) & Wings (great)! The inside of the restaurant was dark & dim & loud. We werenât crazy or sure about the vibe, but weâre from out of town, so it might be a great place for locals. The staff was great, the food came out quickly, the prices matched the quantity & quality of food. I only wish there would be more options for Mac & cheese sizes at lower prices.

Amel's specializes in fresh, delicious dishes from around the Mediterranean. We have kabobs, seafood, pasta, steaks and salads as well as Middle Eastern favorites. We have creative daily specials, and plenty of sandwich, appetizer, soup or salad choices f
was stuck in Pittsburgh decided to go to Amels for dinner, should have fought rush hour traffic instead! The waiter was ridiculous! I actually felt sorry for this kid! I truly believe this kid had no idea why he was even there! Cheap wine! Garbage pinot noir! The label they offered was pinot evil! It is 7.99 in the liquor store. They charge 8.00 a glass plus it was cold. I am still nuceaus! I ordered chicken taboo and it was taboo alright! A plate of slop is what I was qiven. My appetizer of grapeleaves had to be sent back dry and tasteless as a hockey puck! My chicken taboo was overcooked and dry on the outside barely cooked internally . I don't know who is cooking back there but they are doing a horrible job! My bill was 59.00 and I will never step into this dirty filthy establishment again! Farwell and following seas, Amels!

With a good selection of draft and bottled beer, lots of bar food and too many TV's, each turned to a different sports event, The Saloon is a good place to come to hand out with friends. The upstairs deck offers a glorious view of the sunset over Mt Lebanon's verdant hills.

After a long Saturday day out we were starving for a quick (but not fast food) meal before heading home. We stopped at Else's without quite knowing what to expect. I ordered the Mega Chicken Quisida and my sister got the Pulled Pork with homemade chips. We could not have been more pleased with our freshly prepared delicious meals served by an excellent and attentive staff! I will definitely return to enjoy a few drinks at the well-stocked bar on my next visit!

Easy access location, open seating area with bar, high tables or bench table choices. We stopped on Day 1 and the Pub Chip Shop food truck was on site to satisfy hunger or noshing needs. Yum. Good selection of beers on tap, I was looking for more IPA options, but the Barbarian tasted perfect. Picked up 2 growlers for home after a couple of 'samples'. Definitely plan to stop by again.

Long-running Pittsburgh-born chain known for sandwiches piled high with coleslaw & french fries.
Primanti Brothers (Mt. Lebanon) is our go to place after our Wednesday Night bowling league. Fantastic late night menu specials & 1/2 price on Coors Light. Service is always excellent and they have a great menu. This is also a nice place to watch a Pens game.

It had been probably 15 years since I've been here, but my wife opted to make NYE reservations and it did NOT disappoint. I love the atmosphere of this location as it's basically a house reconfigured to be a restaurant. There was a limited menu for the holiday but it still had many viable options. My wife had crab bisque and crab cake appetizer (which was more than enough portion for dinner) and I had the crab cakes and mini filets. The crabcakes were excellent (my wife loved the dill dip that accompanied hers) and the steak was cooked to perfection.
