Had heard good things about it from various people so decided to give it a try. Very interesting place. The atmosphere is quite unique (old house). The beers were quite good and so was the food. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited this restaurant for the first time this past Thursday. There were 6 of us and everyone enjoyed their lunch. Our server was very good, had a great smile, and knew the menu well. I couldn't decide between the Beef BBQ sandwich, and the Pork BBQ Sandwich, so, I ordered both....both were very tasty, and packed with meat, but the nod goes to the Pork because it was more moist.....The Beef was tasty, but needed to be a bit more moist....but, it wasn't bad. The chips that came with them looked home made and I believe they may have been made from sweet potatoes....at any rate, they were very good, as were the pickle spears....nice and cold, and a nice snap. Two of my friends had the Cuban Sandwich and they both said they were very, very good. Two friends each had a chef's salad, and they were huge, and all the veggies were very fresh. Another member of our group had a craving for bangers and mashed, so that's what he went with.....again...no complaints and he really enjoyed them....it was a nice sized platter, too. We also split a couple orders of their chicken wings, and they were among the best I've had in some time....made fresh, served hot, and the BBQ and Honey Mustard sauces were great!. There's plenty of parking, and the rest rooms are clean.....the front bar area is kind of dingy and dark, but just continue through to the dining room....it's very large with a cathedral ceiling, big screen TV's, and a pool table as well as darts. There's also a beautiful outdoor dining/drinking pavilion for your enjoyment. We chose to eat inside and take advantage of the air conditioning.....We'll be back for sure....Just an FYI....Main Street in Douglassville, is RT. 724.

Thursday night dinner arrived without reservation. Were seated within five minutes of arrival. Four adults and five grandchildren. Server arrived delivered menus and took drink orders. 122 burger choices and each of these can be beef, turkey, chicken or veggie! Also have three or four pages of soups, salads and dinners.Full bar and a number of dining rooms.Pleasant casual dinner setting. Our orders included seven burgers and two Mac & Cheese. Food was good, service was good. Ample parking. Will return.

Early (5:00) dinner on a Sunday. Greeted at the front door and seated right away. Server there shortly and took our drink order. More changes to the menu and redundant so a bit confusing. Don't like the new menu as much as old. Most items seem to be gimmicky, like putting one favorite on top of another. That's what my stomach is for. Makes the presentation look sloppy and not as appetizing.Order was placed and took more time than expected since it was only lightly busy. But food cooked as ordered and tasty. Server attentive without being bothersome. Will return but not frequently because of the menu offerings.

I recently visited Black Jax for a social outing with some friends. In short, the food was terrible, the service sucked, the clientele was less than desirable and there was a bad odor inside that just made the whole experience a bad one. Not a place I'll ever visit again.
I was told this place has been here for 3 months and I never know it was here. (even if you run into Boyers Market you can't see it, its tucked back to the right of the market) So me and my wife went there for dinner last night and both of us were pretty impressed. Menu is a good mix of bar food and healthy items and the prices are pretty decent. I had chicken tacos (excellent) and my wife had a flatbread pizza (also said was excellent) They have 2-3 mix drinks on menu and about 6 draft beers (3 craft 3 budweiser type) Service was excellent. I would recommend

Stopped in for lunch and a beer after hiking. The food was excellent. The beer selection was good and the bartender was very friendly. Very enjoyable. The atmosphere is very nice but small.

Returning after a not stellar meal over a year ago, we found they have not improved. We decided to give the surf and turf another try. This time the lobster was slightly underdone vs tough last time. The filets were done to our specifications. The house salad dressing was watery and the bread tough.

Our favorite is the cheese steak pizza...you would swear it was a Philly steak on your pizza! You gotta try the eggplant fries with marinara sauce as a side.

We ordered the hot wings, we prefer the smaller wings they were tasty. I also ordered the baked tomato and mushroom soup, would definitely order the wings and the soup again. For dinner my husband ordered the french dip and he thought is sandwich was ok and said he would order the sandwich again. The parking is limited and the restaurant can get very busy especially on a Friday evening so call ahead and try to make a reservation to ensure you can be seated and dine when you would like to.
