What a great find! We stumbled upon this place while walking through Harrisburg and are so lucky we did. The staff was incredibly nice and guided us through the menu since it was our first visit. Amazing, fresh food and unique flavors. Great options for vegetarians and vegans.

TIP 1: "Thai hot" is spot on so order heat level accordingly...if you want one notch down then order "Medium +"...they will know.TIP 2: BYOB so plan accordingly...nothing better than a cold beer with hot thai food : )TIP 3: Just like Chick-fil-a they are closed SundayGood Asian cuisine in central PA is tough to find, but even tougher is GREAT Thai unless you try Sawasdee. We always try the newest restaurants in town and we were not disappointed...In fact, I order takeout about once a week!PROS: Close to Hershey, fresh, hot and authentic, good size portions, spice level is spot on, take out available and fast, friendly staff.CONS: Parking is tight, even with back site lot, only have seafood dumplings (no pork), BYOB depending on how you look at it, closed SundaysREAL QUESTION: YES...I will and do go back (often)

While my lunch companions really enjoyed their Pho I passed and ordered the rice noodles and vegetables which was excellent. Portion size for the price was very good - $10.60 for a large plate. The service was quick and efficient and our waters were refilled regularly without being a nuisance. The staff were friendly and gracious and obviously take pride in preparing the food and making your visit enjoyable. We will return here.

For quite some time now I have been going to empire Asian bistro for some delicious sushi. I must admit I only go on Sundayâs due to the amazing HALF PRICE ALL SUSHI SUNDAYS!!! Thatâs right. All sushi is half price no matter how much you order. My wife got the chicken curry and love it. I tried it as well and enjoyed it. I really like how they bring out the crispy noodles and duck sauce right off the bat for you to snack on. This is a very popular spot on Sundays so expect to wait a little while for food. But itâs worth it. The sushi here is very good quality and always tastes good. Iâm not sure if you can take it to go but I saw many people picking up lots of to go orders. I ordered so much sushi I had to bring some home. This is great large parties or a couple night out. I will be back again and the half price sushi doesnât break the bank.

Oh my! Yes! Perfect for a chilly winter night. Really enjoyed my vegetable pho with tofu. I was not confident the broth would be good (vegetarian) but it was fragrant. No one prepared me for the portion size but itâs more than size. I was pleased.Dan liked the seafood stir fry. Looking for quick, casual and tasty eats this should hit the spot.

We always do the hibachi meal where the chef cooks directly in front of you. This is a cozy place where the service is prompt. There are other dining options if sitting with strangers is not your thing. Otherwise, the show is always the same but the meal is fresh, hot, and delicious. If you walk out of here hungry then you didn't do the hibachi. If you want to save some money then go for lunch and not for dinner.

Great food and service! They remake their curry blends every day. Fresh ingredients prepared from scratch. Donât let the exteriorâs run down look turn you away. Yes, the interior shows its share of use, but this dining experience is all about the food. NOTE: BRING YOU OWN BOOZE!

My husband and I were really looking forward to eating here. we encourage and enjoy local non chain restaurant and were excited after reviewing all the wonderful reviews. Our experience here was below average perhaps they were having an off day regardless will not be returning. We drove 25 mins to get here and were seated at 6: 32 Pm. Our orders were taken right away. Till now attentive staff and reasonable ambience. It went all down hill from there this was sunday night and the place was packed. There was only one hostess catering to approx. 18 - 20 ppl. There was only one chef with another person who appeared to be a bus boy mostly. It took 30 mins for our waters and 45 mins for the bread to show up at our table. It took 1 hour 30 mins for the food to show up. By this time we were close to walking out and eating at a near by Taco bell. There problem I think were the numerous take out / uber eat orders that were coming in. The hostess was apologetic and offered to take off the 2.45 cents below average garlic bread off out tab. We were ravenous so once the food showed up we were ready to forgive and forget. The unfortunate thing is even though we could have chewed on our arm by this time and found it delicious the food was anything but. My husbands alfredo pasta was runny and al dante to the point of being edible. MY crab / shrimp vodka sauce pasta was delicious but soggy. Sometime the wait is worth it this time it really wasn't. Below average and not memorable. DO not visit on a busy weekend night perhaps for lunch would be acceptable.

My date and I went here for dessert and drinks. I ordered the special of the night~ brownie creme brulee and a millionaire's coffee. My date ordered their signature mojito. The creme brulee was orgasmic, I kid you not. With each bite I literally was like oh my goodness this is so good, oohhh ahhhh mmmmmm. Seriously! The drinks were fabulous as well and I do not even like mojitos normally, but this one was out of this world. My only complaint was the waiter we had. Normally, the wait staff is above par and simply exceptional. Ours, was attentive, but to the extreme. He could clearly see we were on a date, we told him as much, and we asked to be given some time alone and we would let him know if he was needed. He had other tables, so I do not understand what his hurry was as we felt like he was pushing constantly for us to leave (we were quiet and keeping to ourselves). His other tables were no where close to being done, so even if we left, he still had at least two other tables still there, which meant he could not leave anyways. He was just kind of annoying and definitely took away from our date being peaceful and romantic. The owner had died very recently, so maybe that was the issue as this has never happened before. Regardless, the food and drinks are fantastic and I would highly recommend both.Hello! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your drinks and your meal! Our creme brulee is made in-house daily, and our signature drinks are all hand-crafted by our highly skilled bartenders. We will most certainly share your commendations with them!We are sorry to hear that your server came across as overbearing -- our goal at Café Fresco Center City is to exceed guest expectations in food and in service, but it is never our intention to make a guest feel rushed or annoyed. We sincerely apologize for that. We certainly hope you will consider us on your next date night, and when you call to make your reservation, please let us know you would like an intimate, more private table. We can take extra steps in choosing your table and overseeing your service to ensure we deliver the experience you expect when out for a romantic evening. While we miss Nick dearly, we did want to mention that he sold Café Fresco Center City to us almost five years ago. We were extremely thankful for the opportunity to be mentored by one of the best in the business, and we strive everyday to carry on the legacy he created. Like him, we sincerely appreciate your ongoing support and your five star review! We hope to see you again soon!
