We went because of the excellent reviews but I have to say it was the worst. My pattie melt was flavorless. The bread was soggy and I didn't want french fries, no substitutes. I tried the french fries and they were cold. Since I didn't want them in the first place, I just left them. My husbands bowl of chili was awful. Nothing but tomato and again, no flavor. The fried green beans were sticks of fried breading. With all of the fantastic restaurants there, we were sorry we chose this one. There were a lot of out of state licenses plates in the parking lot, ours included. I didn't even bother taking pictures, we were in and out quickly.

My wife's prime rib sandwich was something to behold! It was a huge piece of beef, twice the size of the brioche bun and perfectly prepared. The ambience at Fireside is very warm and the service is friendly and efficient. Check out their broad selections of draft beers, too! Just because the restaurant sits between a Clarion Inn and a Holiday Inn Express, do NOT mistake this for a hotel restaurant - the kind where they feel little obligation to serve a good meal because they figure they've got you, anyway. This is a classy place that serves good food and drink!

We stayed at the Carriage House Motel and used our breakfast voucher at the Speckled Hen the next morning. I got the French toast and my son got eggs and hashbrowns. The only reason I docked this place one point was because it took an awful long time for the food to come out and when it did it wasn’t hot. It seemed like it had sat there waiting for the waitress to deliver it. Other than that it was enjoyable,

The Harvest Cafe is a must try. The food is fresh and delicious. The turkey on their sandwich is fresh turkey, not processed. The chicken salad wrap with the cranberry relish is very tasty. There is ample seating available, but this place gets very busy and you may have a bit of a wait during peak times...but it is worth it. The place is kept clean with an extremely friendly staff. It is a pleasure to go there. This has become my favorite go to place.

Great sandwiches and friendly service. This is a nice place to eat if you just want a really good, inexpensive, quick, simple lunch. My husband and I split a chicken salad wrap and it was excellent, very fresh veggies and lots of flavor. We would definitely recommend stopping in and not just shopping the market side, which is exceptional on its own, but stopping in Amo’s and getting a bite to eat. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Everything we’ve tried has been great. The portions large and the prices reasonable. This is very apparent when you see all the locals eating here. It is definitely worth a try. Thank you so much for your kind words! I will make sure to pass your comments along to the manager and employees at Amos' Place :) We're glad that you've enjoyed every visit that you've had with us, and hope to see you again soon!

Dienner's Country Restaurant

We ate here twice, for dinner and for breakfast. The sticky buns at breakfast were awesome. The rest of the breakfast buffet was just okay, nothing special. They have a dinner buffet, but we opted to order from the menu. My burger wasn’t that good - meat seemed to be a pre-prepared patty out of the freezer. My sweet potato fries were good and my husband said his beef and mashed potatoes and gravy was okay. If you like buffets try Dienners. Because of the sticky buns we give them 4 stars. Since we didn’t have the dinner buffet, we can’t rate that feature. We are so sorry to see you did not have the best possible experience at our restaurant. We are glad to see you enjoyed the sticky buns so much. Thanks for giving us a try and taking the time to share your feedback. We hope you have a great day.
