The Backyard Ale House provides a casual laid back atmosphere. We feature one of the areas largest selections of Micro, Craft, & Import beer menus. Unique all-season outdoor dining and bar.
This is a great pub with classic atmosphere and great food. 100s of beers including dozens on tap. Great selection of burgers and hot sandwiches, well thought out tasty menu. great value and good service. I would definately recommend this as a stop if you are craving informal pub grub - well worth it

We ate here mainly because it was close to our hotel. The food sounded good after a day of travel. I had a beer, which they brew, that was good. The waiter was polite and pleasant. The best menu item we ordered was the adult grilled cheese. The stuffed shells were good as was the pizza. It was a nice spot for a family to eat.

Owned and operated by the Cooper family since 1948 Coopers has become a landmark in Scranton PA. More than just a restaurant think about us as an interesting dining tour experience, once you are here youâll enjoy everything: the menu, the staff, the decor
I was on my way to a 'Friday the 13th' event in New Jersey, and decided to make a 'The Office' side trip along the way. I'm not even a 'The Office' super fan (I have not seen all the episodes), but I was thrilled with this gift shop. My favourite item was the Kevin Malone fridge magnets. The atmosphere of this restaurant was 'delightfully cheesy,' just as it was portrayed on the TV show. I cannot speak to the food, as I was only there for the gift shop. While in the area, you can also visit the 'Pennsylvania Paper & Supply Company,' the original Dunder Mifflin, and pick yourself up a free poster.Dear Product of Canada, Thanks for that nice review! Coopers is glad you enjoyed your visit with us and next time your passing through Scranton stop in for some great seafood too. Remember "Ain't no party like a Scranton party cause a Scranton party don't stop" Sincerely, Paul Cooper

Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar of Montage is a local organic restaurant that features a farm to table menu served in an upscale casual atmosphere. Every three months, we update our menu to celebrate the new flavors that accompany the change in seasons.
I had a terrific piece of halibut at Harvest the other night. I'm usually hesitant to order fish when traveling inland but this item caught my eye. It was delicious! Flaky and cooked just right. My friend and I also had a flatbread as an appetizer which I asked for as gluten free- it was tomatoes, mozarella and basil and very flavorful. We each had sangria beverages and were very disappointed- no alcohol in them regardless of the menu and waiter said! Mine was a mint flavored sangria and tasted like club soda with a hint of mint. My friend had a peach sangria that smelled more peach like than it tasted. We complained to our waiter but he kind of blew us off. The drinks were VERY expensive to not have any alcohol in them. Dessert was a delight! I got the chocolate salted mouse like creation and it was decadent and delicious. My friend got the key lime which she said was too tart. All in all we enjoyed our visit but would NEVER order a cocktail again. We are so sorry about your cocktail and service - it is in no way our standard. We will absolutely be addressing this with our entire team, and do appreciate your insights and feedback. Thank you so much for your time - we hope you will dine with us again in the future. Unique and classic sandwiches are well above average. Renato's is located at the side door entrance toward the rear of Lucca's restaurant. If you seek an unusual and substantial sandwich...or just a well made classic hoagie, this is the place. To be sure, check the online menu or call about daily specials. Access by easy parking in the big lot on Main St. Expect friendly service with an assortment of above average bread and ingredients in large portions. Worth trying if you like 'different' options and also well some well prepared classics.

We stopped on a whim...The service was good...very friendly, but professional...there when needed, invisible when not. The dining room was upscale...Corking fee was a very reasonable $25.Our meals were very good...beef tenderloins were tender and delicious. My in-laws had salmon, perfectly prepared (rare), while my son had grilled chees AND a 5 napkin hamburger.Desserts were great and the coffee outstanding...Definitely reasonable: $250 for the meal (5), corking fee and tip.We plan on going for dinner soon.If you are in Scranton, worth the visit. If youâre just passing through, worth the stop.

We have gotten take out a few times from Tipsy Turtle. Their prices are a bit high. I was also upset that we were charged for take out containers. I felt we were nickel and dimed. Dinner specials are only applicable for dining in, which isnât fair to those of us with multiple small children who canât easily dine out. The food is good, but nothing fabulous.

Great little family restaurant. I always prefer going there for breakfast, prices are very reasonable and portions are large! Update 01/20/2017Decided to take my girlfriend here for dinner on Friday. I selected the chicken parm, she picked another chicken dish. The pasta and sauce than accompanied my chicken was very good. The quality of the chicken on the other hand, was not. The waitress was very observant and noticed that we didn't care for our food (without us even saying anything to anyone about it) and offered to get us something else, or a free dessert. Though we didn't take her up on it, we appreciated the gesture. Due to this high level of service that we received we will absolutely be back. My only recommendation to the restaurant would be to find a better quality of chicken. Everything else was excellent.

STEELER fans abundant! Go black and yellow! Girls at Dooleys are attentive and food is great. Had a McMullan wedge salad and my husband had the Dublin burger...way too much to eat! Great seasonal draft selection for a local pub. Thumbs up on staff and cleanliness!

Found it on Trip advisor. Just an old diner building...cute, a bit worn around the edges. AND...it has the most amazingly yummy food, served to you by the most polite, friendly and helpful staff. Hamburger soup sounded interesting and was a nice cup of thick homemade soup full of burger, potatoes, carrots etc. Served with a basket full of their homemade breads (Italian and Irish soda bread), and real butter. It got even better when the homecooked monster size portions of fall apart with a fork, melt in your mouth pot roast showed up alongside the bowls full of homemade mashed potatoes (just enough tiny lumps to remind you that they're real), and an entire extra large bowl of gravy because we'd asked for extra gravy. Staff were all very friendly and attentive, and our waitress went way out of her way to make us extra comfortable when she found we were traveling. I marked this place on my travel map and hope to stop by again sometime.... UPDATE- Went for breakfast the next morning and found good coffee, perfectly cooked over easy eggs, crispy bacon, good plump sausage, real potato pancakes with sour cream, toast from good bread already buttered, a good cheese omelette with pan fried potatoes...and even more friendly staff!
