My wife and i went here to pick up a few groceries and decided to eat first as we were hungry as can be. We were greeted with a ton of options. I had an amazing buffalo chicken Stromboli and some average at best mac and cheese. it was all pretty good. my wife had a great pumpkin bisque that she is still talking about and some of the salads. they have a fair amount of options for vegetarians too!

We are native Marylanders and should have been wary when told a South Central Pennsylvania restaurant had a really good seafood feast. We were totally looking forward to 'all you can eat' hardshell crabs, shrimp and clams. We could not have been more disappointed. All Seafood was boiled in plain water. The crabs had no flavor, were watery, tiny and unappetizing. The shrimp were a little better but again cooked with absolutely no seasoning. The clams were tiny but dipped in butter they were okay. For the price, customers expect a delicious "special treat' meal. Drive south to Maryland if you're wanting a better level of seafood. Two stars for nice beer list, offerings of old bay, butter, ect. to jazz up bland food although it didn't do the job. The place was crowded on a Thursday so other menu items must be good. I love the garden center next door and would go here for drinks and appetizers.

Food was tasty, server was friendly and helpful and the place was packed. That's probably why the service was a little slow but we didn't mind. Met an out-of-town relative there and that gave us a chance to catch up. We'll be going back.

Oh my...Sophia’s at Walden is one of my very favorite places to go for lunch!! The staff is so kind, the restaurant is so warm & inviting...and the food is really good. I haven’t had a single thing I’ve disliked. I think my favorites are the marinated roast beef sandwich, the coconut crusted chicken salad...and the chicken pastina soup is TO DIE FOR!!! The prices are very reasonable for the delicious food...and the servings are also reasonable.

Had an excellent time here in their private room. Held a Birthday party for a family member. Restaurant was very accommodating to all our requests and even let us bring in our own cakes. It is BYOB but that wasn’t a problem. Their menu was great and covered the spectrum of our needs from steaks to vegetarian. The appetizers were easily shared as well. Service was great even with multiple elderly.

Had a steak I ordered before. Seems to taken from the freezer-tough, highly salted for flavor. Waitress never asked if it was good/acceptable. Not happyThank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I apologize for your disappointing experience, our goal of providing top-notch service and food was missed. Consistency really is important and is something we're striving for each and every day. We do not freeze our steaks, but perhaps it was a bad cut. This could have easily been corrected should your server had checked on you. I'll be sure to address the front of house to make sure they're making it a priority at every single table. I hope that you'll consider dining with us again as that is not our server. We hope to see you in the near future!

We visit here now and then. Tonight we tried the Lobster mac and cheese and filet mignon sandwich. Both were underwhelming. The lobster mac and cheese had a runoff the mill mac and cheese sauce which was abundant and overpowered the flavor of any lobster. The lobster was small and soft not rubbery, but was lacking in the dish. The filet mignon came with fries and was lacking, flavor, seasoning and size. It was half the size of the bun, and didnt taste like it was prepared with any seasoning. However, it was cooked perfectly, it could easily be improved.

The Game Table Cafe has been a fantastic addition to the Central PA area. As a cafe, their food and drink selection is wonderful, and the atmosphere is inviting. As a place to play board/tabletop games, the cafe is a true blessing. It's a great place for those who are new to modern board games AND for veteran tabletop gamers.Pros:- They have a nice variety of sandwiches, drinks, and baked goods.- Their soup of the day is always good.- There's a huge board game library that customers can utilize.- The atmosphere is inviting and has great lighting.- During each month, the cafe hosts many different gaming events (role playing, Magic the Gathering, board game demos, etc).Cons:- From time to time, Saturdays are so busy that table space is limited.- Some people may be turned off by the fact that customers have to pay a coverage charge to sit and play games.
