Reviews on American food in Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania, United States. Lake Harmony is a reservoir in the Pocono Mountains. It enjoys four distinct seasons, which provide endless fun and a myriad of nature-filled activities that are fun for the whole family. The Pocono Mountains are famous not only for their natural scenic beauty, but for the variety of activities available to visitors. People staying near Lake Harmony can spend the day outdoors enjoying nature, and spend their evenings enjoying theater performances and concerts. Whether you are a hiker, biker, skier, snowboarder, botanist or water park lover, Lake Harmony promises a true Pennsylvania mountain experience. In winter, Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Mountains will likely be within five minutes of your accommodations, so you can ski the slopes, ride a snowmobile, or tube down the mountain. Adventurous visitors who want to try a truly unique winter sport can mush their own dogsled team. Enjoy the laurel blossoms, daffodils, and native plants exploding in this colorful natural canvas in the spring. Hit the antique shops, specialty stores, and outlet malls to search for bargains or a gift for that special someone at home. In the summer, you will be near many nature trails where you can walk, bike, or go on horseback through the mountains. Tee off at a championship golf course. Rent a canoe and float on the lake and enjoy the wooded scenery and the rushing waterfalls. If you’re traveling with kids, you will love taking them to the New Split Rock Water Park.

We are the opposite of snow birds- we come north during the Fall and Winter months. Love the changing leaves and snow. But Sunset Green closes the end of October which limits our visits here. We love the food, drinks and ambiance. Our waitress Debbie was awesome. (She even sneaked us an extra crab stuffed clam when she heard I'd arm wrestle my mate for the extra when told the order was 5 clams...) We saw an awesome sunset with our delicious eggplant parm and chicken with crab entrees. Everything was delicious including the Long Island iced teas. Hurry back! lol - we have decided to stay open for weekends into NYE. But do have some private parties on certain days. We will have a weekly chalkboard menu on the website and will be sending out emails each week. We are having a NYE party so keep your eyes out for the menu.Thank you so much for your review. Sincerely, Shelly Luta

Breakfast and lunch served all day
Greeted well, chose to sit at counter at 2:10pm. Ordered soups and tuna club. Could smell and then saw very burnt toast being used to make sandwich. I say loudly, that's burnt, don't use that.... They made new. Sandwich was exce!lent. Soups nothing special. Says no seating after 2:30, I would suggest not after 1:30. They are closing, cleaning, vacuuming. Good oldies music, lively staff. So glad you enjoyed your sandwich and thanks for the review. Sometimes after a busy weekend the staff likes to try and get out a little early to salvage some of the weekend with their family so we will address your comments and concerns. Please stop by again.

Nice view of the lake from the outdoor deck. Went during the week so it was quiet and no music. The menu isn't that large and mostly pub style food. We had the fries shrimp for an appetizer and they were very good. I ordered a Stromboli and my wife had the Rachel. The Stromboli was good and the sauce that came with it was good. My wife ordered the Rachel and said it was alright. The service was very good and quick. I would go back again to try another item.

We came here on the recommendation of our Yeti tour guide. We sat outside facing the water and mountains and it was beautiful. Unfortunately, a storm came through and we had to go inside. The food was average nothing to really rave about. Itâs more about the atmosphere which we got to enjoy for about 15 minutes. The restaurant was very accommodating to our group of 9.

Louie's Prime is fine dining in a casual atmosphere. We take pride in our menu, presentation and service. We offer high quality steaks and creative dishes. We have a full service bar and an excellent wine list with 15+ wine by the glass.
Delicious -- that's the best adjective I can think of to describe the meals at this fine restaurant. Friendly servers and a cozy atmosphere only add to the ambience. The restaurant is family-friendly too. Some meals are a bit pricey, but not all of them. I would certainly recommend this place and will continue to go there when in the Lake Harmony area.

Hi, I am writing a mixed review. This has always been a favorite for us. But something the last 2 times is missing.Original piggy French toast was not up to par, next visit no blueberry muffins until our breakfast came. I actually ordered a cheesesteak instead of French toast. Cheesesteak was off too.We have tried different days. Apparently our usually waitress on vacation or day off same with the original chef.I was concerned, I felt as if the restaurant was sold. It wasnât warm and fuzzy. I researched and found out Bette and her husband still own it. Thank God,Hope they can checkout our concerns.Otherwise, Piggys is a destination. I havenât seen Rachel my last 2 visits either, she is the owners daughter. Great girl!

All day breakfast in the Poconos, wow diner food in a rural setting. We checked thru the menu and my partner settled for the steak&eggs, while I opted for the savory sausage and eggs with savory gravy. It was great and the server was good, the price was reasonable but the best thing was breakfast at noon in the Poconos.

Since 1989, the Powerhouse Eatery has been providing customers with an exceptional dining experience in a unique, historic atmosphere. The former power plant from which we take our name has been transformed into a contemporary dining destination, welcomin
We have eaten here since it first opened and this was so disappointing. From our dinner salads to our dinners- what happened? I just wanted a normal side salad but I was served a salad with the tiniest pieces of different lettuce varieties. Sorry but I like a nice sized salad with tomatoes. I ordered the filet mignon and it was so tough and looked so small sitting alone on that large plate; throw some veggies on that plate please! The sad part was that we left hungry- which has never happened at any restaurant before. Hoping it was an off night? No idea but we were disappointed with our meals.I still recommend stopping into this eatery for the history and atmosphere but maybe sit in the bar area and stick with sandwiches or bar food. Because of itâs history we will try it again, but instead of dinner, we will order sandwiches.
