We have enjoyed stopping here often as we visit the CVNP but we very disappointed this visit. Food was inferior and service was terrible. We came for the clam bake although they were not particularly crowded, it took a long time to be waited on, a long time to get our food. My ribs were so dried out, reheated multiple times obviously, that they were inedible. But our young waiter never, ever returned to check on us so was unable to ask for replacement. When he finally brought us a bill and I mentioned it to his, he was mouthy about it "what do you expect me to do about it now" attitude. If I had not had a sleepy 3 year old with our group I would have sought out the manager to complain about food and our server.

Closed for the Season
Opening Day TBA
(sometime in March)
Country Maid has been serving premium home made ice cream since 1948. I have been visiting since I was a child eating Rainbow and Whitehouse Cherry. There are over 25 flavors of ice cream, including sugar free and fat free. They also make sherbert and yogurt. All are made fresh on location from a natural base and local grown fruit. Two times a week a fresh milk and cream mix is delivered from the dairy. Their ice cream is not made in mass quantities so you are not eating something stored for months. They serve shakes, floats, sundaes, malts, fresh popcorn and pop. They also have an orchard that yields pears, plums, peaches and numerous varieties of apples. Check their website for availability dates. Summer hours are 11 am - 10 pm daily.

Flip Side is mentioned in several other restaurant reviews on tripadvisor. Wonderful place I would like to recommend.
Stopped in on our way home from taking a family member to the airport. My husband and I both had chicken sandwiches. I had the Chicken Philly. It was so tasty and they have gluten free buns! The seasoned fries were great too. Cool decor but it could use a bit of dusting.

Ate here on Friday, November 10th for the first time at the suggestion of a friend. Was momentarily disappointed when I read the sign on the exterior wall that said "no credit cards accepted, ATM inside", particularly since I didn't have cash and knew there'd be an ATM fee.
The place was packed and we were told there would be a 25-30 minute wait, which ended up being about 6-7 minutes. Was seated in a comfortable booth. Good selection of food. I ordered the all you could each fish fry. I added a salad and hush puppies with my order. The fish and hush puppies were piping hot and tasty.
Very reasonable pricing. Would return again.

This is the typical family-owned, come by after the game or a date type place. The kind you grew up with. They employee local kids with great attitudes. Thank God it's custard (and not icecream!), my heart would have stopped years ago & I don't feel so guilty bying a 1/2 gal. at a time!!!!

We have been going to this restaurant since when they first opened. The food is always good. They also have good salads. And excellent desserts. All their deserts are homemade. I recommend the perch, pecan chicken and ribs. They also have great sandwiches.

Like the title says, literally the best donut you will ever eat. They open at 4:30 am but the glazed & filled donuts aren't ready until 6-6:30 am. This is when you want to go!! Once they sell out for the day, they close up. If you wait until later in the morning they could be closed, sold out of glazed or have a huge line. So get up & go at 6:30!! Their glazed is the original and by far the best. It melts in your mouth. While all are great I am sure, I stick with what I like and that's glazed, apple filled & chocolate iced with custard center. You don't want to go through life not having experienced one or several of these donuts!!

Very cute place. They offer a full bar, beer and a wide wine menu. It's usually quite crowded on Weekends and they have outdoor seating for beautiful summer nights. There is often music there - and I don't know where they find their talent but they have always been great. They offer a menu of cheese dips, salads, sandwiches and deserts. We had the goat cheese and peaches last night and it was great. We had so much, we took home over half of it. I highly recommend a trip here.

Although we are not regulars the Rosewood grill we go 3-4 times per year. We're always impressed with the good, but not overbearing service staff. Our water glasses are always topped off, the excellent bread replenished etc. I had an issue with one entrée during our last visit and it was quickly remedied. Parts of the main seating area can be a bit noisy so if you want conversation I'd suggest picking one of the quieter areas away from the bar. The menu offers choices for most appetites and substitutions and allergy concerns are cheerfully accommodated. The wine and craft beer selection is good and the desserts are worth saving room for or taking home to enjoy later. My bride is a big fan of the "CHOCOHILIC" and the make a very good Crème Brulee. We'll be back soon.

We were at the Stow location for an anniversary. We did call ahead seating and were told when we got there it would be a 10 min. wait, we didn't even wait 2 min. Our server Matthew was immediately at our table for drinks. He didn't rush us, he told us to take our time ordering, gave brought us our drinks promptly and overall was the best part of our visit. The food was good, it was all correct, we didn't have to send anyone's steaks back, just a great experience at this location.
