Good food, friendly people, authentic pakistanian cuisine. I keep coming there everytime I visit Batu Ferringhi because I never get dissapointed. I'm vegetarian so I recommand chickpeas which I adore but also other food with meat which I saw on other tables looked yummy.

We stopped by on a whim and were glad we did! Delicious food and an extremely hospitable owner made it a wonderful meal. As Tom from Brooklyn says, the ambience is a little lacking. We had chicken marsala, biryani, naan, and roti. Our eight year old loved his strawberry lassi. If you're looking for a quick bite and dependably good food, this is an easy stop.

A humble middle eastern food restaurant that has variety of different selection of food. From kebabs to platters to briyani to mandi/kabsa rice and selections of different meat to go along side it.
We ate at this wonderful restaurant twice on a recent stay at the Holiday Inn. Itâs across the road from some well established places but this one has the best chapatti, Dahl and the most wonderful service. Our customised lassi was very refreshing! Being vegetarians we cannot comment on other dishes.Wish we crossed the road earlier in our stay.

We had a really good meal here at a good price. Good selection of different cuisines, catering for Italian, Pakistani, western, Arabic and seafood. They donât sell beer but you can buy from the grocery store next door and they will provide a glass for you. Another good meal.

Having visited maroush previously we were looking forward to a return trip. We chose to inside but not in air conditioned room although outside seating is offered. The service here is very friendly and laid back making for a nice atmosphere. On this occasion we chose from the Arabic menu, they also have an Indian menu on offer. We had humuus to start which had just the right consistency and came with very nice warm flatbread. Our main courses were chicken tagine and lamb tagine and were not as good as the humuus they needed more spice and the lamb was a little fatty for my taste. We had pineapple juice to drink, all of their fruit juices are freshly made and very nice. Ml

We were advised by the owner, who was a smiley and friendly man, what to choose when we arrived. He noted that we were vegan and vegetarian and made sure we enjoyed an authentic Turkish lunch whilst in Batu Ferringhi. We shared the falafal platter which consisted of falafal, humus, salad and pirra bread and a fattoush salad. Would reccomend both these dishes. Personally I'd have liked th pitta bread warmed up, but it was still tasty. The portion of humus was quite small too. We saw people eating wraps and these looked excellent as well. The owner then offered us free tea on the house which we drank with some amazing baklava. The service was fantastic: despite how busy they were, the 2 staff members aimed to deliver the best service possible. 2 meals, a dessert and 2 drinks came to only 60 RM. We will be back.

Donât know who writes reviews but our experience as horrible.Drinks cocktails just juice. Our meal was very late n 2 other tables who came well after us got there meals first. Questioned waiter n was told western still meals are quicker to make / cook. We has satay prawns so how hard was that n they came battered n not nice i think over cooked. The other sizzling steak hot plate hard to eat n chewy at best. No real sunset to see that night place out of town so not worth the visit. They could not even get the grab or taxi to come they were that bad.To top it off live music, wow a collection of 60âs music how to kill a night. No interest in this place n really give it a big miss
