Straight from the airport, we went straight to this restaurant for lunch. The menu seemed modest but very neatly written & presented. The dining area was also catchy with a classic European theme. The satay and the nasi lemak deserved compliments. Their flavours were well balanced and rich in textures. The only mistake was to include raw zucchini in place of plain raw cucumber. If they had used Japanese cucumber then it would have been perfect.Keep it up and for patrons, donât miss out on this hidden gem.

MEWS CAFÃ serves Malay food prepared with fresh local ingredients. Diners can choose to dine in a cozy air-conditioned setting or alfresco. The cafe delectable spread is all prepared with homemade sauces and spices, without the usage of MSG.
It was fairly good. The chicken of the Nash lemak was very tough. The mocktails were good, the coffee was standard Nespresso stuff, the satay was good and we also ordered rojak which was OK. The setting was pleasant and the service nonchalant. Overall, better than average but not spectacular.Thank you for dining at Mew's Cafe. We are happy to know that you had a good meal with us. We appreciate your feedback and will take the necessary steps to make improvements. We hope you will be back to soon.

This restaurant is fantastic! The double roasted pork was the best I have ever had! Everything I tried was delicious. This is a must if you are in Georgetown! It gets SUPER busy so there is a bit of a wait but it is well worth it! The line up is a bit confusing but the locals are helpful and will tell you what to do. Enjoy!!

The tempura prawns were the nicest I've ever had, the fruit shake was also the nicest I've ever had, and our main course was absolutely delicious. Generous portion sizes with a variety of foods and flavours on the plate. Fantastic service, too. Highly recommended!

We walked through the city to take a look at the street art and saw this restaurant had a high rating on trip advisor. It is located at the beginning of our trip so we decided to have lunch here. We were welcomed by a very friendly man (I think the owner) who showed us a table and took our order. The menu contained only one dish: laksa, and several drinks or smoothies. So not a lot of choice but the laksa was defenitly worth it. Very tasty and a bit spicy, maybe too spicy if you don't like it but I'm sure that can be less if you say it beforehand. Overall very good food, friendly service, and a great location, so I definitely recommend this place!

The crispy duck is one of the best I've had, and the pork wasn't far behind! The crispy pork dumplings are also definitely worth a try! All cooked by an extremely friendly man who is always smiling and talking to his customers. A must visit!

Thought it is a great restaurant but just an average after all. Nice atmosphere with live music. The first thing comes to me is the obvious stained glass of Pandan Jasmine Tea which should be seen by everyone yet it served to me. In my thought, the cleanliness of this restaurant is not what I expected as it should be. I'd ordered Grilled Chicken Kapitan which is not grilled at all. It looks like the boiled type. The chicken even has an unpleasant odor from the inside bone part which can tell the chicken freshness.Thank you for dining at Kebaya. We sincerely apologies for the lack of attention to detail to your dining experience. The chicken is sous vide first, then grilled and finally a sauce added to finish the dish off. The chicken is cooked sous vide first to retain the natural juices of the chicken, grilled for flavour and finally sauced to finish it off. We are surprised about the "odour" as the organic chicken is freshly delivered daily.

Pros1. Great food presentation2. Pricing fairly reasonable3. Good portioning4. Nice ambienceCons1. We had pre-ordered some food when we booked the place earlier but they did not take it down.2. When requested for warm water, we were told TWICE they donât serve normal water and we had to order mineral water. We never said we were not happy to pay for it...waiters need to be re-trained...3. ordered the cendol but it was frozen hard when it came.. told the waiters twice but they didnât do anything about it..I hope tourists donât get the wrong idea about this dish..Hi Dear valued customer,Thank you for taking time to review your experience with us. cheang kee is a restaurant selling authentic penang local food and barbecue food. It has a very nice and cozy ambient, it is definitely a good place to have lunch and dinner with friends and family, and it is also a nice place to chill out with friends.
Visited this lovely little restaurant for the first time tonight..Sat next to a family of 3 or 4 generations enjoying their dinner. We ordered prawn and noodles; the noodles were perfect..proving that noodle cooking is a real art. The waiter modified our order as I don't eat meat, and ordered us a plate of vegetables when we requested one.Thank you for lovely service and great food.
