Just one slurp and my wife and I were hooked. I think the main attraction is the texture of their noodles. It is non-greasy and has just the right amount of firmness that made me consider a second helping. Not that the helping is small but it's just that it is truly that delicious. The anchovies are another great choice to add-on. It is super crunchy and pairs very well with the dish. It would be really nice though, if Chilli Pan Mee provides online delivery service. I am sure many people would greatly appreciate the convenience of their tasty pan mee delivered right to their doorstep. This place gets our vote if ever there's an award for the best chilli pan mee in Butterworth.
Established since 1989 with 3 branches over in Penang and Butterworth,Jade Palace is well known and is the perfect restaurant for discerning gourmands to enjoy authentic fine Cantonese cuisine. In its glamourous yet traditional Chinese restaurant set up,
The restaurant is located at the 4th floor of Sunway Carnival Mall, next to the convention center. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and we were the only customers. We had the following:1) Nestum prawns (warm and nice, could have been crispier)2) Prawn salad (too much mayo)3) Chicken on ice? (Unique with fruits but not my style and it gets disgusting towards the end)4) Ching Loong vegetables (good)5) Broccoli with scallops (good)6) Double boiled soup (clear and good)I would consider this again but skip the salad prawns and the chicken on ice.
Came here fees times since started up 3 months back. The reason i keep coming back is I do observe the coffee n food keep improving as the owners takes inputs from customers positively n continue make it better. The cafe is not big, however it just nice for u or ur family to grab a good meal n drink for the day. My personal favourite is double shot Latte, Blue Nasi Lemak, Handmade Burger n later on the improve version aglio olio pasta. Not forget to mention I like the owe make cakes. Reminder, u may not find a seat during peak hour such as lunch n dinner time, do call in to check it out. The shop close on Sunday.
Friendly staff, good food. Nice place to have a decent conversation with friends, family or business associate.
Spice Brasserie is the all-day dining restaurant at The Light Hotel in Seberang Jaya and I would say they serve some wonderful food there. I love their breakfast which has a wide varieties of items and their food is fresh and delicious.I have also had some buffet dinner at their restaurant ~ usually under RM100 per pax and again they do have ample choices of fresh and great tasting food. Their food usually covers dishes from Indian, Chinese, Malay and Western. They also have hot cooking station depending on their theme night, fresh pastries and great teh tarik.Parking is usually ample unless there is a big function happening in the hotel
The place is located on the mainland along the straits of Melaka on looking the Penang Island from Gurney till straits quay. Drive there can be rather nice along the Butterworth outer ring road (BORR) with the sea view along the smooth expressway. There is several restaurants along the first exit and Ah Chong Kantin is between them. What they serve here are seafood and other contemporary dishes with layback concept. Price can be rather reasonable but avoid steam fishes as their specialties are more towards curry and fried items. Speed of serving can be rather fast comparing to the other restaurant here. The main dish here is nice view; cool breeze (depends on season) and cheap contemporary seafood.

If you charge this kind of price, please give your customers quality food. Service is not attentive either. Please visit this place if you want overrated and expensive food.

One of the few Chinese restaurants in this vicinity. There are many nasi kandar and Malay eateries here. The Sunway Carnival is close by and has many choices there too.The menu is not very extensive but sufficient to satisfy most palates. Good taste! Prices are fair.

My dear father and by extension I are of ethnic Teochew origin. My dad's birthday this year - I had wanted to do something special for him i.e. bring him to try his own Teochew dishes. And the only specialized Teochew Chinese restaurant I could find is this place. We drove over in a group from Penang Island on last Sat. We ordered deep-fried appetizers (selection of 3: loh bak, prawn fritters and crab fritters), Teochew-style steamed grouper fish fillets, tu-ka-choh (pork trotter stewed in dark vinegar), qing-long cai (a type of green veg), and bitter gourd fried in salted egg batter (my mom's favorite). We finished the meal with the classic Teochew dessert orr-nee (sweetened mashed yam in pork fat).It was a satisfying meal. But why then did I not give this review a 4- or 5-star rating? Looking back, the meal did not stand out as Teochew cuisine focused! I cannot tell whether it is the captain's failing to recommend authentic Teochew dishes or it is our choice to select the above dishes.
Located at trivial neighbourhood along shop houses and don't mistake this to be within the food centre.Yam Rice is their core dish ... fluffy yam well served with rice.Assorted pork soup has a slight sour base with tender well cooked pork meat and assorted parts.Pig trotters were well braised tender with sauce will marinated seeping deep into the meat.Definitely satisfying and worthy of special trip for this.
