Terrible rude service and bad food , rip off food prices . We complained and they just told us to leave . Avoid this restaurant I would rather go hungry. They donât like tourists ! Dear client , we are really sorry to hear that you left our place unsatisfied, but I would like to mention some missing details . A few days ago you visited our restaurant for lunch. When you asked for the bill you started complaining to the waitress about your salad claiming that there were no figs. As she couldnât understand what exactly went wrong , she referred you to the manager who very kindly explained to you that the salad you had ordered contained fig chutney (homemade fig marmalade) and not dried figs. Besides, the saladâs recipe was extensively described on the menu.As for your last comment that our place is not tourist friendly I would like to make clear that 80% of our customers are tourists . We love to work with foreigners and no one has ever complained about rude behavior since now. That is something that you can easily realize by reading the 168 exceptional comments of Trip Advisorâs members .I believe that all this incident is a huge misunderstanding â¦...

Visited on a Friday night where the main event was a whole roasted pig. This apparently had been roasting all day and it was truly exceptional. All you needed was a salad, bread, potatoes, some drinks and the meat for a standout meal. Not something you find everywhere and coupled with the live Greek singer and musicians it was an evening to remember. For me the only issue was the sheer volume of cats begging at the table & people feeding them from their tables. Iâm allergic to cat hair & would rather this didnât happen around food & around me. Otherwise it was a lovely evening, very reasonably priced and we visited on another evening to try their standard menu which was very good too.

We highly recommend this taverna which is centrally located on the Boulevard (closed to cars after 19:00) overlooking the beach. This was our favourite choice for our evening meal. The staff were always very helpful, attentive & friendly. The menu which is mostly traditional Greek with a Cypriot influence, is quite varied. Over the week we enjoyed large Greek salad, Briam, Horta (wild greens), very nice Psariasoupa (fish soup), good Lamb cooked with lemon, excellent Kalamari with a light batter, Chicken fillet chef's special, Moussaka, Beef in the oven & very good Pork chop. All servings were very generous and served hot usually with a choice of spaghetti, rice or french fries. Half a kilo of house white wine was 3.60 Euros. Each of our meals with a kilo of wine, starter & two mains came to around 30 Euros.

Very genuine place, as to be in family.We had great salads tasty and large size.Orange juice good as well, while omelette nothing special.The lady however very kind and quick in serving.I would like to have chance to pass again, to try other specialities. We had a very friendly waiter. Food was good but nothing really really super spectacular. We had humus and cheese as entrees and a large mixed grill for main. For three this was more than enough as the portions are quite big.
