Very friendly and hospitable staff. Althought it is often crowed, the staff will always find you table. Food is amazing, especially pizza, but you can order anything from the menu and you will never make mistake.

This place is among the most established in town. Good service, a nice place overseeing the seaside, pleasant and comfortable interior. The menu is satisfying, average range of choices and really good prices. Food is good quality and very tasty while portions are large.

Food-4 starsService- 3 stars Decor- 3 stars Value- 5 starsWe got there at 8 pm before the rush and were nicely received and seated outside. I ordered a Mythos beer and shared it with my wife. It was cold and tasty. We made sure to tell the waitress to take her time with the food as the service in Greece tends to be super speedy and we wanted to take our time eating and people watching. We started with the Greek salad which was good. We then ordered the vegetarian penne which was delicious and finally, we split the Butchers pizza (meat lovers). It was also delicious. The dough was nice and crispy outside and chewy inside. I also ordered a coke. All this for 32 Euros. By the time we got ready to leave, the place was jammed and 5 tables were reserved. They needed to turn people away. The key is reserving or getting there early. Great value and food. A "must do" for Italian in Loutraki.

Hubby and I visited Loutraki during off-season. Our first night while trying to find a restaurant after dark, only half a dozen restaurants were open on the entire main thoroughfare through town. None of the other options looked appealing because every dining room was filled with smoke (what's up with that?) We chose Bako's because it was empty, except for customers awaiting carry-out orders. They have an outdoor dining patio on the edge of the bay with gorgeous views during nice weather. We ate inside to keep the chill away after dark. The menu is mostly pizza and pasta, large and small sizes. They have a few beer and wine selections, cocktails, etc. We couldn't believe the prices - 1,50 euros for a glass of ouzo and 3 euros for a glass of house wine. The wine was actually drinkable! We ordered a small pizza with pepperoni and fresh tomato toppings. The drinks arrived right away and the pizza not long after. The owner waited on us himself, while two employees manned the ovens. The pizza was fantastic. I'm not sure what cheeses they use in Greece, but they're far tastier than the typical mozzarella we're accustomed to. I never eat four slices of pizza ... I did here. Our total bill including tip was 18 euros for pizza and two drinks. Excellent food, excellent prices, and good service. The only caution - bring cash. They don't accept plastic.

The service is good enough and the location is great. We went there for a break from traditional greek dishes and enjoyed the pizzas! They are not western style or italian style pizzas but nevertheless were very good!
