Baita Malga Mare is an ideal break for your excursions inside the Stelvio National Park. Here you can find dishes made according to the local tradition, frank homemade cuisine, fresh season specialities and the more suitable glass of wine to combine your

Exceptional place. The location is an old mill, tables are located all around the place, at different floors. We had several times been seating in the old stable that is just amazingly well organized.Talking about food, you would never believe that this was Italian moutain food. We were reallyfar from the standards. Eg, the risotto with blueberries.... Just exceptional. The deer never taste as any other. And the wine list was also a real pleasure for covering these delicious dinners. We had both white and red and both were discoveries.I can't wait for our next stay, during which we definitely will stop by there for another dinner.

Just near the mountain lift, at about 2.000m of altitude, a mountain restaurant with a very nice staff, good food, very nice interior design and of course with a breath taking wiew over the Peio Valey. It worth the effort to walk the 5 km course till the restaurant ( or just to take the mountain lift for 6 minute ride). You also can rent for 2 euros deck chiar in order to stay in the sun!

We spent ten days in the Val di Sole and had two marvelous dinners here. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We were a group of six and had a variety of dishes: gnocchi made from nettles, pasta with mushrooms, traditional venison were among our favorites. The service was gracious and friendly. The restaurant, part of the hotel, is warm and inviting,

If you're looking for a war, welcoming and cozy place than go to malga Frattasecca! Friendly and professional staff, lovely food and great atmosphere, the perfect recipe for a lovely rest after a tough day on the mountains! We had dinner at the malga almost every day in a two weeks holiday and every time has been great! PS. A presto!!

Went with 11 of us, all ordering at same time. Food came hot, really tasty, and enjoyable.Pizza's were fantastic, made to order and only 7-8E. Thin base and lots of filling. Any of the pasta are also superb. Right at the end of the lower Blue Run, so location is perfect for all when skiing.Waitresses really helpful and provide great service.

I was positively surprised to find an excellent pizza restaurant at the end of the road on top of the mountain. Family ambiance, friendly waiters and a good choice of very fine pizzas and desserts.

We ate her on Christmas day, coming back from skiing at the local Peio ski area. The place is simple, yet very traditional and cosy. There is a limited choice on dishes because this is a farm where they serve as much of their own products as they can. I find this a great plus, because it means that you have fresher, more "real" food and less waste. If you are Italian, especially from the north of Italy, you will feel like eating at Grandma's. Very good starters, do not miss the home made pickles. First course was excellent (great nettle soup!), we found that the roasted agnello (lamb) needs a bit more work to be as good as the mixed grill meat dish. The couple's children and their friends roam happily around, which gives the place and even more friendly atmosphere. They also sell their products either at the restaurant or at the nearby tiny shop. Recommended!

We had some great food at this restaurant, the pizzas are especially good. Good bar too with Forst on draft and some 'Artiginale' beers. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful and they have fantastic views from the sun area.
