Not too many restaurants in Pedrogao Grande as it is a small place.
The restaurant itself resembles a cosy small Cafe rather than a well lit classroom.
Staff is friendly and the menu big. The food is good but nothing special.
I could eat and drink for half the price within a one minute walk but would not have the same atmosphere.

For over two weeks we ate our evening meal in Geracoes restaurant. It is run by a friendly, hard working couple and when the restaurant was not busy we were entertained by their daughters. The food was good and plentiful and very reasonably priced. Too much meat and too few vegetables for my liking. I ended up having only salad or vegetables and rice and /or chips and just having a little of my husband's meat. It seemed to be a set price, as if we had a coke, desserts, coffee and wine the price for the full meal was always the same, except when I didn't have the meat then it was cheaper. We liked eating with local people.

Come and try the best pizzas in the Sertã and surroundings. Also try the pastas, baguettes, burgers, salads, garlic buns and finish with fantastic desserts
Service is fast and people are friendly and nice.
The pizzas arevery good, albeit not the best in the world and other reviews suggest.
You won't be disapointed! They have take away too, so if you are in a close hotel, you can order and take it home.

The quantities are a little unbalanced, how much more expensive the food is, the less quantity we get. Nevertheless the food was good and overall we had a couple of good dinners. For desserts we had the chocolate cake with ice-cream, but unfortunately the cake was very salty so i couldn't eat more than 2 or 3 spoons, the "baba de camelo" was too runny and should be more cold.
The service was relatively fast and the people were nice, but i didn't like the fact that they never took away the dirty dishes with remains of entries.
The view is the best feature of the place.

The restaurant is an amazing place with the nice view of the river, Mountains and great home-made food. It is a right place to meet friends, family or colleagues. I definitely recommend the restaurant. You should try their fish soup, the best soup I ever ate in my life.

Tudo na Brasa is a charming little cafe, full of regulars, local workers and occasional visitors. The lunchtime is usually a choice of two things, and usually 'frango' or 'peixe'. With a soup stater, a drink and a wholesome dessert (doce da casa is good) the bill is around 6Euros.
The chicken is always a good choice served with rice, chips and salad.
The staff are wonderful, and the lady who runs the show makes delightful 'sonhos'!
Well worth a trip.

Restaurant installed in an old olive oil press, a rustic space in shale on the bank of the pear stream
