We ate here as we were staying in the hotel. The food was fantastic. It has definitely been the best restaurant of our tour around the Balkans over 2 weeks. The menu has lots of choice and it's excellent value- for example tomato soup €2, lasagne €4.50, ice cream 3 scoops €1.80. The food was very good and the service was great. The waiters were so friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it.

Ski chalets located at ski center in village Boge, Rugova Mountains, Kosovo. It is nice place for having relaxed during the winter and summer time. It is located around 300 m far from ski lift.

Dear "Doncafe" rules of good serving are reflections of tradition, culture and respect to customer and your cafe-restaurant.
Passing by City Center I was impressed by the "Doncafe Qender" (huge café and beautiful lounge). Clearly one of the popular meeting places in the city.
We ordered few lattes, but waiter stated that they do not serve coffee after 8pm (“we can't make money from tourists (schatzi's) sipping coffee all night long").
Hmmm. Coffee shop that cannot afford to sell coffee? After we pointed at few tables with guests drinking coffee, waiter came with coffees that tasted so bad that we could not drink them.
I asked to speak to manager but he never came to our table.
I usually visit my hometown Peja once a Year to see my family, but now and after what happened, I will not go to Doncafe because I don't want to get verbally abused and insulted by their employees.

Awesome, almost fairytale-like location, next to a river. When I arrived here for lunch no other guests were present (yet) and the cook/waiter simply asked what I wanted to eat. I asked for "fish" and 15 minutes later I was enjoying the best trout of my life, mmm...
Coming from Montenegro, this was my introduction to Kosovo and needless to say I felt very positive & welcome.
Great place, great people!

My parents live in Prishtina so we decided to visit the beautiful Rugova valley and stopped at Bjeshka for lunch.
We were looking for local food with a beautiful view and that's exactly what we got!
The service was good, the waiter didn't really speak any English but the menu was both in Albanian and English so we could order. Unfortunately some of the local specialities were not available but we were there in the low season after a heavy bout of snow. We drank the local beer Peja - you will drive over their symbolic bridge on the way up the valley! The salad with local cheese was fantastic, the peppers in cream and the warm corn bread were delicious and freshly prepared! We also ordered a few meat dishes that were very tasty and rather large portions.
Overall the facilities were decent, nothing fancy. The view from the wooden building was very scenic, overlooking the sunny snowy Mountains and Rugova river. Perfect for a weekend lunch. In the summer, you would be able to sit outside overlooking the valley.
As a side note: there are 'no smoking' signs in the restaurant but there were unfortunately a couple of locals smoking by the bar - it didn't bother us too much but I'm sure you could ask them to enforce the sign.

My experience in Dio bar was awesome, I always enjoy staying here. The sandwiches in here are great, especially, the one with tuna. The waiters are friendly and quick on serving draft cold fresh local beer Peja. The place looked like is very popular as most of the time you hardly get a free seat.

located a couple km far from the city center of Pec, this rustic and warm restaurant belongs to the same owner of the omonyme motel These two young guys: Valdet and Valon, are doing an excellent job running this place. It's opened from 07 am to midnight and it offers a huge selection of tasty and fresh food. We have tasted the traditional "muscles" (a dish or meat, vegetables and cheese cooked in a stone dish) and many other delicious specialities of albanian cuisine. Free wi fi in the whole structure, free parking, and also a real mini zoo and children games. Fair prices. Abosultely recommended

I have been in this restaurant with my girlfriend and we ordered lasagna and pizza calzone. It was very delicious! Very generous portion of lasagne served with yummy bread, and pizza calzone was huge I couldn't hardly finish. Very acceptable prices and great location, near centre of Peja.

Zenel's Beu Tower Peja as a locality is recognized since ancient period, which is continuously lived and created. Even today from the masters of local artists have remained a quite religious creature, as well as secular buildings with monument values. One of this remained buildings has historical, cultural, artistic, ethnological, environmental is a Zenel's Rushit Begolli Tower known as a Zenel Bey Inn or Tower (Kulla) in Peja . Zenel Bey was well known personality from a huge, patriotic and rich family Begolli from Peja . Following the recent restoration in 2013 the Begolli family has decided that the first floor of Tower (Kulla) takes a business destination and on 22 June 2013 was launching of a restaurant Kulla Zenel Beut .
A previous reviewer had mentioned that there were a number of foreigners in the restaurant due to the reviews on TA and also in Lonely Planet so we had some Reservations but we decided to give it a go anyway.
As it turned out, this was an excellent choice - my wife had the trout, my son went for the spaghetti carbonara while I opted for the local specialty involving veal and vegetables baked in a pot.
Suffice to say, the meal was delicious, the service was excellent and the setting under the vine leaves made for a very pleasant ambience.
The other thing that's worth saying is the portion size was spot on and we came away feeling contended but not stuffed.
As it turned out, plenty of local folk turned up a bit later in the evening, so that was another ringing endorsement.
Stongly recommended.
