It's all about big flavors at Roy's at Pebble Beach. The Hawaiian-fusion theme places fresh seafood front and center. Sushi, sashimi and blackened rare ahi tuna are prepared to perfection. Lobster Bisque, Tosaka-Wasabi Swordfish and Mango-Jalapeno Encrusted Ono are to die for. But meat lovers never take a back seat at Roy's. Ginger-Scallion Crusted New York Steak and Roy's Charred Garlic Honey-Mustard Beef Short Ribs are only two of the many meaty menu choices. Combine that with a dynamic wine list and exceptional desserts and you have one impressive dining experience. Roy's trendy, casual and energetic setting at The Inn at Spanish Bay features views of the Pacific Ocean and The Links at Spanish Bay as a panoramic backdrop.
Roy's is an attractive and very good restaurant in an absolutely spectacular setting. While the food and service were very good, what I most remember is the overall experience....cocktails on the gorgeous outdoor terrace, the bagpiper playing, an amazing sunset, a beautiful table by the window, coffee and Baileys by the outdoor fire pit after dinner. What a great night! The macadamia crusted mahi was excellent, but the setting and experience are truly memorable.

We had the pleasure of dining here one evening during our recent stay in Carmel Highlands Valentine's Week. I had researched dining places online and this wonderful Mediterranean/Greek café popped up as #1 in Carmel on several searches. So we made reservations which is a must! We can certainly understand why it receives such a high rating but we never realized what an absolute delightful evening was in store for us. When entering the café we saw many tables in a small, cozy, intimate setting already occupied with a very busy wait staff. One of the owners came over to greet & welcome us. He was most pleased to know we had lunch at our favorite lunch place, Porta Bella, which he also owns. He made certain that we had the ultimate dining experience at Dametra. The Mediterranean/Greek décor adds to the fabulous atmosphere. It was our last evening in Carmel and we felt like stuffed pigs from the week so we ordered light that evening. We shared spaghetti and meat balls, a salad, and dessert. So sorry we were not hungry enough to order some of the their authentic menu items. About one halfway through dinner the owners and their wait staff grabbed the hanging instruments that were displayed on the walls and began playing music, singing, and dancing. They encouraged the patrons to join in dancing between the tables. Oh what a delightful evening! Everyone was having such a good time! I would encourage any and all to make a reservation and enjoy this wonderful café. We cannot wait to return to this gem!

Carmel Belle proudly sources its ingredients from farmers and purveyors that practice sustainability, and provide honest, high-quality products that taste really good. Our meats are hormone-free, grass-fed/free-range and humanely raised in California. Our produce is largely organic and purchased from local farmers' markets, farmers, and/or distributors that support small farms. So please join us, and eat good food knowing that we would never serve you anything we wouldn't serve to our own family.
The woman who took our order at the juice bar was very abrupt and unwelcoming. (They'd barely been open an hour, so it's not like she'd had a long day)... Although the flavor combinations for the smoothies sounded great, the drinks she made for us (after a rather long wait, considering that they weren't busy) were extremely watery and devoid of flavor. Overall an unpleasant and disappointing experience, would NOT recommend.

Definitely recommend this restaurant especially to anyone that enjoys perfectly prepared fish with a wide variety of preparation options. The service is professional and efficient. We look forward to a return visit the next time we are in Carmel.

Great place has been serving the local community and tourists for decades. The fifties music and decor add to the ambiance, which is relaxing. The food is delicious! Breakfast burrito, pastries, ice cream and coffee are all excellent. Counter service is fast and efficient from the friendly staff. Prices are reasonable for Carmel. Thank You! Happy New Year!

Stopped here during the 17 mile tour. Loved this place. The view is stunning, service terrific and very friendly, and food was excellent. The outside tables each have a separate gas fire pit if it is chilly. You must try the bread balloon, which was something we have never even seen before. The gnocchi and bolognese were both very tasty.

We have been Carmel's Candy Shop Since 1960. We provide a beautiful collection of fudge, locally made chocolates, British sweets, gummis and a wide variety of nostalgic and children's novelty candies. We also proudly carry over 50 different types of licorices from all over the world.
We love shopping for our grandchildren at this quaint little candy shop on Ocean Ave. Be aware that this place is expensive! They offer a good selection of candy, we loved the Chocolate Raspberry Truffles here and small chocolate Santa Clauses at Christmas time. We are going to take our grandson here next month when we are in town. :)

Authentic Mediterranean cuisine served with love and joy in the beautiful city of Carmel by the sea .
Was there on New Year's Eve and to celebrate a birthday. This is a small restaurant so book! Premises are cramped but there is live music and the servers are funny. The food was good - perhaps not as fantastic as the reviews sound. Some...MoreThanks for ringing in the new year and celebrating with us! We're glad everyone enjoyed themselves with pasta and dessert. We hope you all return soon. All the best, Ben, Owner

The Mission Ranch has been a favorite stop for many years. Situated on the edge of a stunning sheep pasture overlooking Pt Lobos, the historic ranch provides the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine on a nice afternoon/evening.
The restaurant opens at 4 for for drinks - and 5 for dinner. Patio seating limited and most of the tables are reserved for dinner guests - I recommend arriving a little before 4 to ensure you get a table outside.
The restaurant offers an excellent wine/beer list and a wide variety of bar-food items. No better place to grab a great glass of wine and some snacks while watching the late afternoon light over Pt Lobos. The sheep are also quite cute and it's fun to watch them all line up with no prompting waiting for the their master to open the gate.
An amazing spot - don't miss it!
