A Day's Dream B&B

Under new management starting 2016

A Memorable stay

Reviewed By haleh s

We spent 2 days in a day’s dream B&B. we stayed at a suit with a king bed in upper level of the house. The room was so clean and comfortable more than we expected. It had all the things that you may need during your stay, private bathroom with lots of towels and robes as well. It had a shared balcony with the other room with a fantastic view of Okanagan lake and Peachland. Each morning we woke up to this amazing view and really enjoyed that. There was a common area shared between 2 rooms which was equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and lots of dishes and cutlery. Also, there was a hot tub in the back yard which you can relax there in the evening. Susana and Ahmed, the hosts, were very nice and friendly people. They were so kind and welcoming and tried that we enjoyed our stay. We had 2 breakfasts there and Susana’s cooking was fabulous. We tried one of the most delicious Croissant that We had ever eaten. In breakfast time they left us for a while that we can enjoy our breakfast and then joined us, and we talked about lots of things, like their immigration, works, Childs, … They visited a lot of countries around the world and had very interesting experiences (you can see some photos of their trips on the walls). Ahmed reminded me my beloved grandpa and I really enjoyed to talked with him. We wished we could have stayed there longer. We would definitely come back on our next visit and we would recommend a Day's Dream B&B to all my friends. Thank you once again Susana and Ahmed for a memorable stay. Haleh&Mohamad

over priced and dirty

Reviewed By chillinjames

My family and I stayed at the Davis Cove Resort at the end of August 2021. The reviews and pictures looked wonderful……until we arrived. Not only was the unit (14A) very small, but it was dirty. There was no room for toiletries in the bathroom, no room for luggage, the hot water in the bathroom sink and shower trickled out slowly, and the coffee maker did not work properly. When I first asked about our pup staying they said no problem…..$25 per night. There was a problem……he was not allowed to go anywhere on the property. We were charged close to $400 night; little value for your momey

Beautiful getaway

Reviewed By AmandouceP

We stayed in June for a weekend and enjoyed our stay so much that we rebooked a stay in September, even before we left for our anniversary weekend getaway. The hosts are very hospitable and welcoming. The rooms exceeded our expectations. The pool and hot tub were refreshing. The care and attention made to provide a delicious and healthy breakfast was fantastic. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone!

Comfortable beds and great views...

Reviewed By claire m

So the negative first - The b and b is not so much a b and b at the moment but simply a guest house (no b). It is difficult to find. With no clear name just a number on the post and then down a gravel track. Either parking spaces at the bottom or top of house require walking up/down steep steps so not recommended for anyone with walking difficulties or those taking huge amounts of luggage. Our bathroom was separate from our room down a short corridor, not so much of an issue as we have stayed everywhere from camps, yhas to 5 star places but some might not like this. The rooms are a little chintzy (but this is personal preference) and on the plus you can see how well they look after the place as there's no dust. They also lack thick curtains or black outs as the blinds just let in a lot of light at morning. But the rooms have lots of furniture and little things which shows they have really listened to other reviews I.a. clocks, table, chairs, side lights, storage and instructions! The place is about 3 minute drive up hill. And no you can not safely walk into town from here. The hill is very steep and there is no sidewalk. On the plus - reasonably priced accomodation for Canada and this area. Amazing views from the balcony. You are left to your own devices and given a key which is great. There is a small shared kitchenette unit with fridge, microwave, kettle and utensils/plates. You can make use of the bbq and there's space to hang up laundry (useful for us!). There is a nice 1 hour walk further up hill called pincushion trail. The owners really leave you to it but are there is you need them or have any questions. Would def recommend a stay in peachland. It's beautiful place. We probably would recommend a short stay in this accomodation simply for the great views and cost compared with stays directly on the beach road (plus it gets you away from any crowds)

False advertisement

Reviewed By Katriena J

This place advertises as if you get a big room with bathroom sitting area front porch kitchen all to yourself. Truth is you get a room with a bed and the rest is shared with the owners and other guests. There is a B&B sign on the driveway but we were never offered any breakfast. It is not advertised as bed and breakfast. We were very disappointed when we showed up thinking we would have privacy only to find out we had to share it all with other people. Wi-Fi was quite shaky. The owner was a friendly lady so that was to her credit. The bed slept fine but at least advertise that you only get a private bedroom ( which wasn't very sound proof either) and it would have been nice to at least have a private bathroom with it. Do not recommend this place if you want an evening to yourself and some comfortable seating in private.
