We dropped in for dessert crepes during a walking tour of the area. The creperie appeared full, but there were additional tables upstairs. The waiter was very friendly and helpful and did not laugh at our French. We ordered a crepe with caramelized apples, but the apples were boiled, not caramelized. Note that the WC is very small, up a narrow staircase, and is not large enough to accommodate a "customer of size".

We were staying 2 nights at Nantes camping and took the tram into the centre. After a walk round the Chateau des Ducs De Bretagne and the cathedral we took the green walking route de Leon Blum and although we were heading for another restaurant we stopped to eat at the L'Ardoise. It's a small restaurant with a set lunch 18⬠for 3 courses and we paid an extra 2⬠for the cafe gormaund. Service was good and the food was well presented and had a slight Asian flavour to the main dishes. I had the salmon which was really nice and my husband had the entrecote Thai style. I love cafe gormaund and although not the best I have had was ok - 7 out of 10. We really enjoyed our meal and with a carafe of wine we paid 50⬠- about right for a city lunch.

The Reflet is a project of gourmet restaurant, located close to the city center of Nantes. More than a restaurant: a place to share, a culinary tour and especially human! A generous cuisine using local produce, large tables where we all meet, but also an
You need to make your selections from the slips of paper in the centre of the table, and make sure you order dessert at the same time. Then mark the menu card with the 'bingo marker' showing each person's choices. The food was tasty and ample, served by a happy, smiling waitress, and although it's not cheap, it's certainly not expensive, especially considering that the restaurant is right in the historic centre of town>

Nice place, excellent food, homey feeling and relaxed atmosphere. We had dinner there with my partner, the wine is really reasonably priced, had kir nantais and wines by the glass, not on the menu but the waiter will let you know what is available. The food is worth a fine-dining restaurant and it's nice to see a small independent business operating in Nantes!

I called in to ask if they served vegetarian dishes. The lady asked the chef who was happy to accommodate. The service was superb. They served a small palate warming dish which was a pleasant surprise. The starters were lovely. The main dishes were delicious. We had a fish dish which was cooked really well and my veggie main which was delicious. The dessert was the most excellent course. They gave us some beautiful cookies and biscuits after dessert. The drinks were served well, my cointreau had ice and sliced orange in. Very good place to visit.

I came to Nantes for the weekend for the 4th or 5th time and came to Le Bistro des Enfants. It's absolutely the best restaurant in the area by far. The service is friendly, personalized and attentive. The prices are very reasonable. The food is to die for. Menu changes all the time but amazing every time. A must is the Tarte fine aux pommes, it's made on the spot and when I say wow it's wowser! Love this place

Welcome to our french restaurant in Nantes, heres you can eat creative french food. We hope to see you soon.
Please visit this restaurant. Very good food, and excellent, attentive service. I enjoyed the pre-starter and the (tuna) starter. Main course as well. Then, pre-dessert before dessert to ignite the taste-buds. Enjoyed a beer to start and a bottle of sauvignon blanc for dinner. Excellent. And very reasonably priced, I might add!

Called in here after visiting the chateau, on a wet day. Welcome atmosphere, friendly staff and 2 x 26cm freshly made pizzas, which were delicious. These were large but you can get a 32cm as well. I had a green side salad to go with it and a soft drink, although alcohol was available. Fast service, considering each pizza is freshly made. Would definitely go here again.
