We visited Noyev Kovcheg (Noahâs Ark) for dinner. We were 14 people, ranging from 1 year old to 80+ year old. Everyone enjoined both, the food and the atmosphere in Noyev Kovcheg.We had manti (Uzbek steamed dumplings) and various types of shashlik (lamb, beef, duck), some pickles and salads. The food was very tasty and well presented. The waitresses were polite and efficient.The interior design was clean and fresh. That evening there was a performance by a singer. She was a DJ, too.)) Dance floor, decent acoustics - what else one may need to have some fun?))They took a deposit (5000 tenge ~ 13$) at the time of reservation. Probably, because we booked for a big group... The service charge was later added to the bill.I have no reservations to recommend the restaurant.

The non-descript entrance is typical of this region, but inside is the typical warmth of a large bar, muted colors, and wood furnishings. It is very comfortable. A couple old gents were obviously British from their overheard accents and manners. A band was setting up and just began to play as I was on my way out, which was fine with me. It is big enough for the electric guitars, and likely enjoyed much by the younger set. The bar is quite nice, well-stocked, and served by very able young men and women of the wait-staff. The large menu, in English, is a strength with good British traditional dishes, but some variety as well. This is a great place to go -- alone or with friends -- to enjoy a traditional fare from the Isles. I would definitely return when back in town. The location is easy to find: about one block from the main city center's square. Locals readily know it and can point the way, and any taxi will get you there without worry.

Located in the Hotel Dvin that we stayed at, the Restaurant Dvin was a great place for meals during our stay in Pavlodar. Excellent choices for lunch and dinner, we ate most of our meals here among the terrific service, the relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. If you are in Pavlodar this is a great spot for meals, worth the drive if you arenât staying at the adjoining hotel, you feel very welcome here.
