Tried the fish and chips and Bush puppies. Everything was great! Fresh, crispy, and flavorful. A went in to order to go good and had to wait just a few minutes while everything was fried. Friendly people as well.

CLOSED FOR THE 2017 SEASON. Re-open April 2018: For over 40 years, The Dairy Hut has served up the summer's best soft serve ice cream, Coneys, and sandwiches around! It's a Pataskala tradition - we're open every summer to share all your seasonal favorites from ice cream and floats to coneys and brats. We boast over 30 different soft serve flavors, rich in taste and tradition! Enjoy some in a milk shake, float, or one of our specialty 2 & 3-layer sundaes like the Buckeye or Salty Caramel Pecan. But we don't stop at just ice cream, The Dairy Hut has great sandwiches, too! Regulars love our Coneys with the made-from-scratch Coney sauce, as well as our shredded chicken, BBQ beef, brat, and ham & cheese sandwiches. It wouldn't be summer without a trip to The Dairy Hut so be sure to stop by soon for lunch, dinner, and ice cream!
The Dairy Hut has the Best Ice Cream. The Very Best Sundae to try is the Buckeye Sundae. Everything I go to Pataskala we have to go for the Best Ice Cream Around. Don't Place up this little place. Your family will enjoy their tasty treat.

This brand-new, locally owned, coffeehouse is the perfect place for that perfect "cuppa joe." A variety of specialty coffee blends and pastries are available. Enough seating for small group events, Bible studies, book clubs or just hanging out with friends! It's so nice to have "real" coffee in town!

Interesting place with lots of interesting memorabilia. Food is never going to be mistaken for gourmet, but it is good. Desserts are usually excellent and prices are very reasonable - old fashioned with lots of diner / home style offerings. Little to choose from other than fast food and pizza or burgers in area. A decent choice.- provided expectations are reasonable.

My mom insisted we try the frozen custard. I asked for the carb count, being diabetic but not saying so. I was very disappointed in how high the carbs were. THEN the cashier told me they have no-sugar added frozen custard AND no-sugar added toppings. She then showed me the carb count and I was privileged to eat the best frozen custard ever!

Capuano's Pizza has been a well loved restuarant for many years. You can always count on your food being hot, ready as promised and the owners and staff are very friendly. They are very committed to their community and are involved in many local events.

This nice little Mexican restaurant is tucked back off the road and is a little difficult to see but well worth the look! We went with friends who highly recommended the place. I would call it an authentic Mexican restaurant, with bright colors and Mexican music. The bar in the middle of the room is very nice. There's outdoor seating on the patio as well. Warm tortilla chips and salsa (in individual bowls) are served, free of charge. I highly recommend the "Burrito Supremeo". Yummo!

it's definitely a bar - lots of big screens with sports on all. Sports decorations everywhere. We have only been during slower hours so can't speak to service when rushed, but we have always had very good service, even when waitress is doubling as bartender. The burgers are large, juicy and extremely flavorful - as good as any I can recall in the Columbus area (Pataskala is on the extreme eastern edge of that!). The fries and onion rings are both excellent, if they not prepared fresh on the spot, I'd be very surprised. I have also tried their version of fried bologna sandwich and thought it was good. The burgers though are hard to pass on. Only reason for less than 5 stars is the noise level and it's a bar! Despite the bar aspect, smaller kids seem welcome, at least during the day.

I love their Wednesday chicken and mac and cheese lunch special!! The owners are so nice too! I tell all of my friends about trying Cajun's!

We didn't check the reviews before coming here and I'm really surprised that they are so low. However, we also didn't have food delivered but instead dined in the restaurant. We really enjoyed the all the way pizza that we ordered. The toppings were piled on but the crust was still crispy and thin. The only complaint I have is that many of the tables were dirty so it was more difficult than it should have been to find a clean one. Also the price is pretty high but we felt it was worth it.
