The Calafate cream brûlée and the semifredo amaretto were wonderful and interesting. The menu offers mostly meat. The one fish dish was very good and soup as well. Great restaurant for dinner.

International cusine restaurant. Calid ambience. Great Patagonian Lamb. In Puro Sur delight in our patagonian gourmet dishes, creative mix of regional ingredients and a great international cuisine with the personalized service of a professional team that
We had the Bife de Chorizo and we were not at all able to chew it. We are talking about second teeth here. So hard, so immature, like chewing gum. It got thicker and thicker while we were chewing it. In the end, we had to spit it out or swallow it in one piece. Overall the head of service, Carlos, was not helpful at all, when we complained about this.

Are you on your way to or from Chile, or are you exploring the route 40? In that case you can't miss Los Antiguos; the green heart of Patagonia. In the heart of Los Antiguos you will find our restaurant Viva el Viento! We are open 7 days a week and ready
This restaurant is spacious and well decorated with a nice atmosphere. The menu is typical of the area. The food is fine but not outstanding. The price is more than you would expect for the food but given the limited options was fine. Their WiFi wasn't working when we were there which was one of our main reasons for stopping in. Restroom was just ok.

We had the best lunch ever at Yenú. Every mouthful was so flavourful and each dish was so artistically arranged. We had the set menu, which we thought was brilliant value. Friendly, attentive service - a totally perfect dining experience. Will certainly recommend this places.Thank you very much John for your visit. You will be welcome at your next stay! Greetings from the entire Yenu team!

Wow! After struggling for good seafood in Argentina, in a remote village we found the best seafood restaurant. It is up with the top seafood restaurants in the world on my book. Went there for lunch, came back for dinner, even asked them if they were open for breakfast. The service is top notch, unusual for Argentina; tended by its charming owner and family. The food is fresh, sustainable, delicately prepared, and delicious! Wish we were staying in Puerto Deseado for longer just to eat there again.

In Fuegia we try very hard to meet the international traveller´s need for a good meal, served in a quiet, harmonious place. We offer a varied and original menu of homemade dishes with fresh ingredients. Besides the typical Argentinian filled pastas and ex
"Fuegia Bistro" is another high-end choice for eat in El Chálten, usually frequented by couples and groups of people. It has a classier menu and a bistro-like decoration, a cordial but slow service. We visited it on the end of last Spring season. The menu has several starter options among salads, carpaccio, quiche or ceviche, and the main dishes have some comfort and varied style of dishes, beside stews and some regional dishes, especially on the meat options, and 4 options of dessert. The wine list is very good, but as we were in El Chálten just for trekking we avoided drinking alcohol, and ordered 2 sodas. We received an appetizer, free of charge, that consist of bread, butter and vinaigrette, and as a starter we ordered a Carpaccio and a Vegetable Soup that were both good. For mains we ordered Crepes with Spinach, Ricotta Cheese and Walnuts and a Patagonian Lamb with Grated Sweet Potatoes and Baked Vegetables. All the plates were tending to small portions, with an ok presentation - all of them were lacking some seasoning (especially salt) but were good in taste otherwise. For dessert we had an Apple Crumble and a Parfait with Patagonian Berries. The crumble was pretty usual, again tending to small portions, and not too much complex in flavors and the parfait was more an ice-cream that seemed to be just out of the freezer, for its core was frozen, solid as ice, and with a rather watery flavor. The total value of the bill with service added was something around 45US$ - it was nice to try another place in El Chálten that had good reputation, but maybe we didnât visited it on a nice day⦠the food was adequate, but nothing that stood out on the trip, plus it had the issues that I mentioned above. And the total price is a bit high to the city standards, but with nothing that really justify it. We hope to revisit it on the future and see if we get a better experience.Buenas Tardes!

B&B its a place eat the best burger in the chalten, we have abig terrace with happy hour of draft beer and verry good music and a view of the valley of el chalten
We were looking for a quick bite. We went here based on TA reviews. The place is like a shack with wooden benches. We went in and were seated quickly. We ordered a chimchurri and veggie burger. They were prepared quickly and served piping hot. Lots of lettuce, guacamole and tomatoes on mine. The veggie burger was hot but the patty was okay in taste. My husband loved his beer and meat burger. Service was good.

Open from the 15th October to Easter Sunday inclusive. Get ready to please with our regional dishes. Our specialty is "Palo" Lamb.
This is the restaurant of the hotel Posada Los Alamos, which lies two blocks north of the main street. It is quite large, and, in addition to an excellent breakfast buffet for guests, it offers a good choice of Patagonian dishes for dinner. We had the lamb barbecue, which is cooked the traditional way on spits hung above a log fire. It was delicious, although the portions were huge. Service was friendly and attentive.

International food in romantic place. Amazing overlook the Argentino Lake Open only for dinner and closed on Wednesday. Closed from May 1th to August 30th
We were lucky as we were the only guests during our diner. The service was excellent and the owner was very friendly. We had a great lamb and steak with a marvelous wine. Also very good price if you look at the quality of food, wine and service. A beautiful view on Lago Argentina. We came back the next evening!

During our four days stay, we had dinner here for the last two nights. Pity we found out too late about this wonderful surprise near our hotel (Los Ãlamos). Charming little family-run local place, friendly service, great (authentic) menu, and in the kitchen a modern cook with a creative approach on (traditional) dishes. We enjoyed it a lot, so therefore, highly recommended. Loved their desserts. Mind you, closed during low season. Try it, I know you will enjoy it. Both of you are lovely!!! We remember that you ordered the same food both days enthusiastic... Thank you for your warmth!!!
