+ Good breakfast, especially the fresh fruits and fresh orange juice + Nice staff - Very noisy. Got woken up by drunk Irish and English people every single night due to very thin walls. The hotel should have had night staff to tell people to be quiet. - Small rooms. We got allocated room 404 which was extremely small for 5 people, but could change to room 404 which was a little bit bigger. The rooms lack space to hang all the ski clothes, the hotel should put up some hooks on the walls. And please put in a toilet brush! Also missed duvets, instead of just a sheet and a dirty bedspread. - The dinner buffet, although cheap, was of poor quality and felt unhygienic.

Me and My friends had planned a road trip from spain to andorra so we were looking on for a hotel in andorra and Hotel Vanti was the pop up shown as i always start from the lowest price and this was the cheapest with breakfast but when i reached i didn’t expect this to to be this good . We booked for three people and the room was quite big where we could easily make room for 5-6 people and the view from the room and the breakfast restaurant was breath taking . The only thing i dint like is about their reception as i was stuck twice for some bathroom and room issues but there wasn’t anyone at the reception and they haven’t told us anything about to whom to call , that was the only reason i was little bit disappointed rest of evrything BEST FOR THE RATE

We didn’t stay here but used the bar area for a few drinks on our first night. It’s a very modern and trendy bar area and the waitress serving the drinks was very pleasant. Free bowl of nuts with drinks.

A big surprise in this little gem of a hotel. I’ve never visited Andorra or Pas De La Casa before. If I’m honest, I had low expectations, given its reputation for being a resort for hardened party goers rather than serious skiers and boarders. Post covid, though, we were struggling to find a group booking that didn’t require a bank loan, and snow conditions in Andorra looked decent compared with the alpine snow drought and Saharan sandstorm. So off to Andorra we went! After a 2-hour delay at Toulouse airport waiting at the baggage reclaim, we boarded the bus for the 3.5-hour transfer to Pas, which included a lengthy, and in my opinion, unnecessarily long, toilet stop. We eventually arrived in PDLC at around 5 pm. Our bags were loaded onto a van for transport up to the hotel, and the Crystal Ski rep asked us to walk up to the hotel - probably about a c. 10–15-minute walk for most people. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel. I’ve stayed in all kinds of places on ski holidays, from expensive high-end chalets to bunkhouse style accommodation. However, given the relatively low cost of our week in the Cubil, I expected something towards the ‘budget’ end of the scale (i.e. a little rough around the edges). I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find nothing of the kind! Cubil is a well located, well maintained, immaculately clean, modern feeling and well-run hotel. Check-in was efficient, and our bags arrived a few minutes after we arrived. The rooms are simple but spacious and more than adequate for a week’s skiing holiday. The only comment about our room was the lack of places to hang kit to dry after skiing all day. One of our fellow travellers reported hearing some noise in the early hours when clubs and bars were tipping out, but our room was at the back of the hotel, and we didn’t hear anything at all. The hotel bar and communal area were a great place to hang out after skiing and in the evenings. There were comfy sofas and chairs to lounge in and chat, and the bar was well stocked and well-priced. Most drinks were c.30% cheaper than prices in the Alps. You can run a bar tab if you want to, and the hotel will leave your bill on the pool table every morning for you to check and sign. There’s good/free Wi-Fi in the bar, but it’s worth noting this doesn’t extend up to the rooms – something I think the hotel should offer. Mealtimes at the hotel were very well-organised. The hotel operates a system wherein you choose your food options for the week when you arrive. The system is perhaps not something everyone will enjoy, but I thought it made mealtimes easy with food coming out of the kitchen promptly. The food itself is very good, particularly given the hotel’s price point. I’ve had much worse food in hotels and chalets that cost double what we paid to stay at the Cubil. On the final evening of our stay, Pieter, the hotel owner/manager, bought all the guests a drink, which I thought was a nice touch. The hotel has an underground garage where the ski lockers are. You access the garage from an unlocked side entrance/door at the front of the hotel, so very easy to get into when you come back from skiing. The ski lockers are a little flimsy, so they are not super secure, but the ski storage is otherwise very convenient, with an internal stairway back into the hotel. There are no boot driers in the ski storage area, which might mean taking boots up to your room to dry if you encounter any slushy or wet days. I think the ski/boot storage could be quickly improved by adding a pin-security lock, better lockers, and boot dryers. Get on it, Pieter! Getting to the lifts in the morning is super easy. Simply exit the ski locker garage, turn right, walk up the hill for 5 minutes to the bend in the road and then turn left through a passageway that takes you right onto the piste near the PDLC bottom lifts. As far as the skiing goes, I have to say I really enjoyed the Grandvalira ski area. Sure, it’s not as ‘challenging’ as some of the alpine resorts we’ve visited - most of the black runs would be red runs in France & Austria - but there are plenty of pistes to suit all abilities. There’s also plenty of easily accessible, non-threatening off-piste for intermediates and experts alike. The main areas/resorts of PDLC, Soldeu, El Tarter and Canillo are well linked (albeit there are a few longer and slower chairlifts that could do with being updated), and it’s super easy to get from one end of the area to the other. I’m a snowboarder, and I’d read a few reports of flat spots here and there, but there’s nothing that a bit of oomph won’t get you over. Food and drink on the mountain are super reasonable compared with the Alps, but you can also find pricier options in some lovely locations if you’re looking for a treat. So, all in all, an affordable, well maintained little hotel, run by friendly, helpful staff, in a large and fun ski area. What’s not to like?

Love this hotel. The holiday firm rep on the coach actually said this was her favourite hotel to us. It's a 3-4 minute walk from the main lifts in Pas, this is where all the bars and restaurants are too. The hotel is spotless all the time. The staff are great, always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is lovely and although they don't have evening meal they were fine with us bringing a pizza back to the bar on the odd night we did. Massive thank you to everyone ot hotel Meta for helping make our ski hol this year so enjoyable. Mike

If you stay there do not accept a room near the elevator. The elevator makes lots of noise and as the rooms are not sound proof you will hear the elevator moving all night long. Also people tend to concentrate near the elevator lobby to use the wi-fi network specially to use skype, what´s up, etc. You will hear the whole conversation inside your room. So if you want to risk not to sleep well you can go there.
