The Best Food in Parsons Kansas
Once again I hear people telling me you have to eat here it's phenomenal. Well first off we went in and wait staff left a little to be desired the best service came from the young lady who seated us. I ordered a chimichanga it's a good food to order if you are testing out a Mexican restaurant to see how fresh and flavorful the food is. You really can't judge the cuisine in a town that has three Mexican restaurants, 2 Chinese restaurants, an over priced burger joint with a bar so I won't be to harsh.
The food was typical American-Mexican food, I asked to have my chimichanga smothered in green chili and the waitress told me they don't make chili ( obviously she thought I was speaking of beans and meat type chili. ). It tasted like it came out of a box deep fried and no originality. I'm very disappointed that so many small towns think that because it's 12-16 dollars a plate it's good food, you can get the same tasting food at your local Taco Bell or Taco Mayo.
I gave it three stars because in this town it's possibly the best food however far from a destination. And as for the waitstaff you really should learn to treat your customers properly instead of thinking being a cutesy little girl will get you by, your 5 dollar tip would have easily been a 10 dollar tip on a 15.00 meal if you'd been polite, asked to refill my drink at least once.

We travel to Parsons every 3 years for a family reunion and no trip is complete until we've been to Braum's at least twice. We usually eat at least one meal there and have ice cream 2-3 times. There ice cream is fantastic!!! The service has always been fast and courteous too!

Local favorite, always good. Frosted maple long johns are the best. Sit down, carry out or drive through.

The menu has lots of variety. I enjoy their salmon. Their salads are also very good. Although I wish they would add some other greens than just iceburg. If your not super hungry, order a 1/2 salad. Or split a whole one with a friend, or take some home. They are plentiful. Get grilled chicken added to it.

Love supporting a locally owned restaurant. Friendly staff. Food is always served fast, hot and so flavorful. Pulled pork sandwiches and curly fries are a must try. Weekend buffet. Family friendly and affordable. Large dining area.
Limited parking in front of the restaurant but plenty of parking just to the West near the dog park.

Whether dinner with my spouse or lunch with friends, this is definitely the place to go for a good meal. The food is good, the service is always friendly and prices are reasonable. Pulled pork, brisket, sausages are all good. If you are there on the night the special is the waffles, make sure and get one.

This little business is one of those places that really surprise you when you finally try it out. If you didn't know it was there you might drive by it for months, which I did. Someone finally mentioned it to me that they had good food so I tried it out.
I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was excellent. It only took a few short minutes to make and it was a huge portion with some excellent pico and some kind of other yummy sauce for dipping.
Since my first visit I make this place at least a once a week lunch run. Marc, the owner (at least I think that was his name) was very friendly and I could tell he really appreciated me being there.
I'll definitely tell others.

Below average food. Service was incredibly slow and food was well below average. Warm salad? Never had a warm salad. Won't return

This place is great! I was there with my adult sister and senior parents. We stopped in because it had received great reviews on this and other sites. The building is a bit hard to find - the sign is faded, and if you aren't looking for it, you will miss it, and that would definitely be a shame.
The food here is WONDERFUL! I had a cheeseburger, and the meat patty was made right then, not frozen and grilled. The food was flavorful and the prices were great. The fries were excellent - made on site from real potatoes and the skin was left on.
The place is small, and they don't take reservations (it's not that kind of place), so there may be a short wait if there are no tables or bar seats available. The interior is like a diner, the exterior like a metal shed. If you are going through eastern Kansas, you do not want to miss Pizzo's restaurant.
