Paralimni (Greek: Παραλίμνι) is a town situated in the southeast of Cyprus, slightly inland, within the Famagusta District. Since the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus, it has increased in size and status, due to the migration of many refugees fleeing from the north. Many of the people who work in the tourist industry of Protaras and Ayia Napa live in Paralimni, which is now the temporary administrative centre of the Famagusta District and the biggest municipality of the Greek Cypriot-controlled area of the district.

34 of us turned out to celebrate a friend’s 60th. Really good evening especially this late in the season when it is much less crowded. Food and drink good. Can recommend the mixed fajitas, chicken, beef and king prawns. Served hot on a platter you build your own fajita then use the chilli and sauces to heat the food to your own taste. The restaurant serenaded the birthday boy and provided everyone with Mexican hats for group photos. An amusing evening, well supported by the serving team, at a sensible price. Would recommend.

The Nissiotis is a throwback to the glory days of Cyprus tourism where the food was plentiful and delicious, the prices made sense and the golden Beaches were never far away. This place is ten paces from the beach and serves traditional Cyprus dishes cooked...MoreThanks !!!

Mousikos Tavern has been our favourite for years now. True to our tradition, we went there last week for dinner, and, yet again, Mousikos Tavern maintained and enhanced its reputation.
Always, it is imperative that one books one’s table several days in advance – such is the demand for this place! On the plus side, booking a table is a simple and hassle-free process.
The place was spacious, very clean and decorated in a unique, traditional way. The waiters were very pleasant and courteous and service was very efficient. The starters (Mousikos halloumi, tachini, olives, mushrooms and yoghourt) and food (“Tsipoura” fish, grilled chicken and chicken souvla) were first class: nicely cooked, very well presented and very tasty; what is more the quantity is enough to fill even the biggest stomach.
The hallmark of Mousikos Tavern is their “halloumi” starter – halloumi is a cheese version invented in Cyprus. Mousikos Tavern makes its own halloumi which it cooks in its own special way, offering what is perhaps the most famous halloumi dish in the immediate and wider area. No visitor to the Protaras or Agia Napa area should leave Cyprus without having tried the Mousikos Tavern halloumi!
After the meal we were served “bourekia” that were a treat from the vendor. They were delicious!
The prices are very logical and considering what one gets, make the whole experience excellent value-for-money.
Yet again, we gave Mousikos Tavern an unreserved “thumbs up”!

Family run restaurant established 30 years in 2013,renovated this year, little of the beaten track, not on a main road position, but away from all the traffic and noise. We use top quality fresh ingredients and we do our best to make you feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed,we love to hear your comments good or bad(please tell us if some thing is not ok and we will put it right) as for us the customer is most important and we want you to come back and become one of our regulars.
We had the house special for two, fillet steak in a superb sauce. I can't rate this highly enough. The steak melted in our mouth and the taste was delicious, portion size was big.
At 24 euros per head we thought was more than reasonably priced. Would definitely return, we were in a group of six everyone agreed that there meals were of a very high standard

Positioned in the heart of Ayia Napa’s bustling tourist centre, Sage is a culinary gem for the region’s fine dining, and has steadily carved a reputation as one of the most exclusive restaurants on the southeast coast of Cyprus. Discerning diners will find a menu of enticing gastronomic delights, and attentive and discrete service… all to be savoured within our completely renovated and stunningly unique interior, or under the stars on the elegant Terrace.
We went to Sage Restaurant as part of an Ayia Napa Stay to celebrate my Milestone Birthday. From the time we arrived until the time we departed, Everything was terrific. Lovely table, great waitresses who made us feel that we were important people and we sat and had Drinks of Rose Wine & Carlsberg Beer whilst we perused the extensive Menu. Choices finally made, we had Trio & Crunchy and Confit Duck for Starters to be followed by the same Main Course of Beef Estragon served with Potato & Vegetables. All beautifully freshly cooked and presented. The additional surprise was two of the Waitresses brought a generous slice of Birthday Cake complete with a Lit Sparkler and Singing the Traditional Birthday Song. Coffees followed and a thoroughly enjoyable evening was enjoyed.

We visited this restaurant last year and loved it so much we came back multiple times over our holiday. This year it was one of the first restaurants we wanted to go back to. We booked a table for six adults and two children which turned out to be a table for six full stop. The manager came over and apologised but the situation could not be rectified. The table was to the right of the kitchen this time and next to a table of around 20 very drunk and loud people. This meant we could barely hear each other and as a result ruined our meal. The food was good but not as good as we had remembered and so we did not visit again despite looking forward to this restaurant the most.
Worth a try but not as good as it used to be.

We visited twice. First night fantastic, kids had pizzas and we had pasta, mine gluten free which were both delicious! Staff very helpful and attentive.
Second night we came back for there octopus dish. Vegetables lovely, but the octopus it’s self, a bit disappointing. It was served plainly, with a balsamic glaze and a rather strong pesto. In my opinion, maybe some white wine, fresh tomatoes and herbs might have been much nicer.
Apart from that, I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

It's on the outskirts of Protaras on the way to Cape Greco. That's how it describes itself on it's business cards!
Visited on the great reviews and was not disappointed, in fact we returned the next 2 nights as well!!
Fantastic and tasty Cypriot food at very reasonable prices and friendly service.
Set menus and meze great value for money and good local wine. Would recommend the moussaka, kleftico and meat meze.
