Hippocampus Lounge Restaurant located in Protaras, which is a famous tourist area in Cyprus. Serves great, simple dishes in a modern and stylish environment. The Lounge Cafe Restaurant is the ideal setting for any occasion. Eclectic dishes, all of which a
We went to eat due to the good reviews. I highly recommend the place. We tried the carrot soup which was delicious as well as garlic bread. The main was flambé grilled chicken with Diana sauce and lamb kleftiko. Both were great. We tried caramelised cheesecake which I don't recommend because it was heavy in sugar. Bravo to the manager who hired Greek people and we could talk in Greek. One of the best restaurants in Protaras. With Love Blackjack Lover on YouTube! :)

Andama Tavern is a fine example of the famous Cypriot hospitality in the centre of Protaras. The menu created on original family recipes. Prawn sayanaki, kleftiko, mousaka, meat meze and fish platters will find the way to every heart. Flowers, herbs and p
We were recommended this restaurant byone of the bar staff from our hotel. we wanted somewhere that we could get some traditional Greek food. The lamb kleftico was amazing, each restaurant has its own take on this dish but we both had it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Family run business, within the heart of Protaras, come along and meet Andreas and the team and relax while having an ice cold drink.
called in one evening while passing, in my opinion just a usual average bar, beer was flat and poured in strange glasses bit like small vases, it was busy so maybe they were struggling at the time for glasses, plenty of people in so is probably better than we experienced, staff were very friendly and bar area was nice and cool

Visited Molti 18 months ago and on return we wondered whether it would have maintained its high standards. We were not disappointed. We visited this time on two occasions, each time arriving before 7 pm and had no problem with obtaining a table though the restaurant filled up very quickly. Service was excellent, The waiting staff were friendly and flexible always quick to spot something that needed to be done. The food was first class. The garlic mushrooms in a cheese sauce were exceptional, as were the other starters, particularly the avocado and prawns. There is an extensive choice of mains and we had four excellent meals followed by sweets. With a bottle of wine our three course meals came on average to between 65 and 70 euros which was good value for the quality of the meals. In the unlikely event we return to Protaras we would certainly visit Molti again.thank you for you lovely review it means a lot to us to get feedback so we can inprove our standards every year even after 33 years we still like to continue to get better every season

How the hell this place ranks in the top 10 in this area is beyond me, maybe the competition is so poor. Itâs a nice looking place which was a good start, but then it was all downhill after that. We had the fish meze which as a Cypriot myself, was a disgrace to the cuisine of the country. Most of it was straight out of the freezer and to be served breaded crab claws, the type made from crab sticks was revolting. Then that was followed by a prawn cocktail.... So far nothing remotely Mediterranean or fresh. Next up was some fish kebab which looked and tasted it was defrosted straight out of the microwave.... mushy and no texture. I wonât go on, but if you want âtraditional Cyprusâ food stay away from here and go out of town because Protaras mainly caters for bland tourist fodder who donât know any better. I canât believe this represents the best taverna in town.

We visited twice during our week and all 3 of us had the Jumbo pork chop..on the second visit 1 of us had the chicken curry. Wow the pork chop for 10.50 euro was huge and cooked really well, it tasted delicious. The service was a little slow on the first visit but quicker on the second, the staff were polite and friendly. I would have liked to have seen a few more traditional dishes on the menu though as i could have visited a third time. I would definitely recommend!
