Any venue with ‘resort’ in its title is not my traveling cup of tea. Our group may have stayed here based on ‘best of’ in the area. It is stylish, the bar and restaurant off to the left on entry. There was piano music at dinner, a nice touch. Happy to have two keys so you could continue charging outside the room. Odd there was a coffee pot but no packets. The room was Arctic-like on arrival. I shut the a/c at night. The pool area is very smart. Peacocks patrol the grounds. A nearby bridge makes for good photographs. Not my style of travel but I can see why families, local groups and even businessmen would enjoy the place.

To start the front desk people were somewhat rude on arrival, like they were not nice as they should be when you arrive, they are the first face of the hotel on arrival. The bellboy was very nice, so nice he made us forget the previous experience with the reception desk. The rooms are very nice we booked two. One of them the AC was not working to enough to battle the heat of Asuncion summer and leaking permanently and maintenance people came in once and fix it but it never cooled as to be comfortable. In the other room we found roaches at night, both nights. Both rooms were very nice with a good TV but the cable reception wasn’t that good. There were plenty of channels on the list but some of them didn’t work. The internet WIFI was not good either, I had to change an app password and I received a message that a password had been changed from a place in Chicago ??? There was a very comfortable and spacious desk but there was no place to plug-in the computer, the closest one was to far for the cable to reach. Overall it was mediocre for the price and the fame of the place in Asuncion, but the people that work there except for the ones at checkin deserve the best stars. Because with all the deficiencies of the Hotel always had a smile and were ready to help, like all people in Paraguay they were amazing hosts.

The Complejo Internacional del Este is a spa, resort, events and conventions center, with tennis court, soccer field, basketball court. A very complete place for relaxing, especially for groups of tourists or company workshops, meetings, etc. We also have a spa, and pool with jacuzzi. Double twin bedrooms and suites with jacuzzis.
La verdad es un hotel muy pintoresco. La atencion que recibi fue espectacular. Cuenta con habitaciones mas que amplias y esta muy cerca de los comercios. La limpieza es muy buena. El desayuno es muy completo.

Casa Blanca Hotel has a magnificent location with view to the Paran River. Surrounded by jungle and nature, it's the perfect place for for leisure or to relax after a long day business trip. It has double, triple and even quadruple rooms, all with LCD TC, air conditioning, fridge and complete private bathroom. Premium suites have jacuzzi.
This was the worst hotel that we stayed in entire trip in Paraguay. We book the most expensive room thru booking.com the room called luxury suite. The hotel send us email back and said the room was available. When we got there the front desk said the room we booked all occupied and we could change next day. He told us this step down room was 2nd luxury. There were 3 buildings of the hotel and it's turned out the room he gave to us was in the ran down building with the roof top fall apart, the front door of my room was with a long cracked open that I can see thru outside. The bedding looked like had been used for over 30 years all thin and torn and pillows are flat.. My cleaning rags at home are thicker and better look than their bedding. The shower had no water pressure and we cannot take a shower first night. Only thing that okay in the room was the view facing river and you can walk out from your room to look at river. Next day we told the front desk and want to change the room to the one we booked and I can see they're not happy. I saw most of their customers checked out during breakfast. Anyway we got the room and of course apparently the room that they gave us was in the main building and next to the breakfast so of course all the noises you could hear and you cannot see any river view bcs they have made the area for serving breakfast and the large bathroom facing the pool with thin see thru curtain and we could see everyone out there with no privacy when we went to the bathroom or shower and of course forget about hot tub..you cannot use without watching people walking around while you buck naked!! The room was out of date look cheesy in 70s. only good thin was good water pressure and I had to shower in the dark . Anyway when we checked out they charged us both night with the price quote from booking.com $200 which by standard of Paraguay was expensive..my upgrade luxury room in Dazzle hotel in Asuncion was much cheaper. I can see they only give a better room upstairs with privacy to everyone else that not Americans..guess they don't like us..or maybe bcs we didn't book direct with them??? Go somewhere else the river view not worth the price and hassle with room and of course breakfast if you were not the first one to eat there was no adding in fruits..by the time we came out all fruits gone and the servers never added any fruits..the pastries all dried and horrible. only good thing was you could ask them to cook eggs for you.
