One of the best kept secrets within the Savannah heights, a friendly restaurant and cafe, comprises mainly Chinese, Korean food and over looking the vision city and main waigani area especially the commercial areas. The prices are quite expensive for dining out, Better off going to other restaurants but if you want to enjoy the view, this is the right place. No free Wi-Fi, sorry.

You really do need to know right where this is in order to find it, and security concerns mean running the usual POM gauntlet of barriers and security to get inside, but once there, it's an "unreconstructed" (here meaning: not very modern) Chinese restaurant with tasty dishes and regular clientele. It was my first visit, brought by a local expat. Hokkien Noodles were especially good. The atmosphere is a bit gloomy but I can easily see why people might want to be here, relax, and settle in. We couldn't quite do that because it seems the place closes for the afternoon, but we had other things to do anyway.Would I go back? Yes, not alone, but to try to share a variety of Ang's dishes. A shame about the need for such security but that's not Ang's fault at all.

Dining out in Lae has is limitations. Only a few restaurants are worth to go. Bunga Raya restaurant is one of these. Youâll find a good variety of Chinese/Malaysian style dishes. The guestroom is tiny, and the owners squeeze as much as possible chairs in. This leads to a noise atmosphere. However, the food is delicious, even if they have their price. If you plan to dine with some friends â make a reservation in advance.
