Maria greets you with a warm smile and the best of a home cooked Cypriot breakfast complete with her homemade olives and apricot jelly. The grilled haloumi cheese is from Lysos and the bakery fresh bread/toast is an absolute treat. Her welcoming personality makes for a most enjoyable start to another bright Cyprus morning. A breakfast at Maria's will always be a part of my Latchi/Polis holiday.

Island Beach Bar is located in the beautiful coastal town of Latchi, amid swaying palm trees and sunny breezes.
As a restaurant and taverna, Island is a decent cafe! The staff are pleasant and welcoming and the location is a prime area on the beach. That's as good as it goes. Our tuna wraps were too much for one especially with the obligatory chips and salad. Half the portion of the 4 wraps would suffice, keep costs down and bring in more customers. They are one of rare bars that sell non alcoholic beer but quite dear. Then there was the poorly maintained toilets, broken tap in disabled wc, the cracked wc in the gents and most of all the appalling smells from the wc when you enter the bar area.

Stopped off at Koullaâs after reading about it on a food blog and realizing it was on our route from Coral Bay to Pomos. Loved everything about this spot; it was a breath of fresh air after the crowds of tourists in Coral Bay! We arrived right at lunch time and it was busy with locals, but easy to get a table under the passionfruit trees for shade and breathtaking views of the ocean. Our waitress was a delight and our sandwiches were really well seasoned, lightly toasted quality bread and tasty fillings; the tuna was a favorite. Visit their pickle bar for free olives, pickles, pepperchinos and cardamom leaves to spice up your meal. We got two sandwiches and two waters and walked away having spent less than $10. Canât beat that.

Central Point is predominately a sports bar with an enormous screen. We came here for a few beers, wine and a steak and onion baguette which was served with salad and chips. The steak actually turned out to be tiny cubes of stewing steak so not quite what we imagined but I suppose for â¬6.50 you get what you pay for also we had asked for no tomatoes which was ignored. NOTE only cash excepted no cards.

Cafe/takeaway situated in Latchi marina, specialising in home cooked British food including English breakfasts, hot and cold sandwiches made to order, light lunches, daily specials, home made cakes and scones and ice cream sundaes. Orders taken for boat t
Went for a breakfast due to the excellent ratings however, we were really disappointed with the breakfasts. We ordered two works and two traditional breakfasts. Considering they come across as being British breakfasts, the sausages were awful, the mushrooms were tasteless and the tea wasnât great either. Everything was swimming in grease, itâs a shame as we did have high expectations considering the ratings were good and it could have just been a bad day but we wouldnât be going back to try again.

Great service, lovely tranquil ambience, lovely food at fantastic prices, friendly and helpful staff who speak very good English. Seems very popular even in low season, also has a very large car park right next door so no problems parking. Was only staying in the area for a few days but visited twice, and could easily go here all the time!!Thank you so much for visiting us and for sharing you experience with the world !
