Find out what Greek restaurants to try in Peyia. Pegeia (also spelt Peyia; Greek: Πέγεια) is a town in the Paphos District of Cyprus. Pegeia is situated mainly on the steep slopes of the coastal hills inland from Coral Bay, at the southern end of the Akamas Peninsula, and it lies 14 km north of Paphos. It has a large population of British ex-pats and a growing number of holiday homes and apartments. In the town centre can be found a town hall, church, police station and several small shops, restaurants and banks. Due to its hillside location many parts of the town offer views over Coral Bay and Paphos.

Had a lovely evening here. Service and atmosphere excellent. Food delicious and plentiful. Hubbie had Stifado and I had calamari. Homemade chips, nice tzatziki and pitta, decent house wine. Very reasonably priced. Thanks for your review. We hope to see you again in our Tavern!

Great local food, the lamb was lovely and so tender. Food is reasonably priced as well, cheaper than eating down on the Coral Bay strip.Unbelievable service from the waiter, who looked after the whole restaurant by himself, he never stopped running all night! The service was fantastic.Thank you very much for your lovely words .

When the chef is the mother of the waiter and has been cooking here since 1983 you know you are in for a treat. Excellent value, traditional mezze with a couple of modern twists made our last evening one to remember. The starters consisted of a salad, bulger wheat cooked slowly in a tomato based sauce, grilled halloumi, tahini taramasalata and fresh Greek bread. The mains of lamb kofta, stifado, chicken and a beautifully barbecued lamb chop and pork chop made the evening. To finish a handful of local grapes. The village wine at â¬9 was a steal and a meal for two at under â¬44 belied its gastronomic value. Book in advance or turn up at 6!

We should have gone here sooner, rather than the last night of our holidays. Food - outstanding; service - genuine and friendly; atmosphere - wonderful and uplifting; premises - classy but comfortable for us as a family; price - given the outstanding quality, it was very reasonable (compared to other lower quality venues we visited during our 2-week stay). Blown away by our visit and will be first on our list when we return to Cyprus.

ONIRO By The Sea is an original chillout bar with spectacular sea caves views where you can find delicious bites, original cocktails and refreshing ideas.
I have not been here for some years as I have tended to visit family over christmas when it is closed. But this October it was a happy chance - with warm weather and a lovely lunch. It was busy but it is well staffed and quite efficient. Food was freshly prepared and excellent. A great escape too from the Pie and Chips brigade in Coral bay.

Our first experience was not a great one... for several reasons. Chips were cold, lipstick stains on my glass.. service wasnât too great either... but we did go again, this time we booked ahead as it was peak season and heard they get busy... so basically thereâs one set menu, they serve souvla (pork and chicken) so you can have mixed (one of each) or just pork or just chicken (2 pieces of meat) served with a big girl of salad, chunky chips, and fresh local bread with butter.... they do also do a vegetarian option if you want .. we always order a portion of vegetarian too as side ... the food is fresh and tastes great. Itâs clear to see the family work hard specially in the heat of summer... we love going here and taking friends and family when they come to visit, itâs defiantly a must go.. wish they were open through the winter too...

LOCAL AND TRADITIONAL FOOD ON CHARCOAL!! Delicious Sheftialia, Pork and Chicken Kebab in pitta or portion which is served with chips and salad!!! Also, you can try the juicy Pork Chop, the amazing Homemade Burger and the special MEZE!!!
First visit to this basic but very clean, tidy friendly restaurant and takeaway. We found it online and thought we would give it a try after many years coming to Cyprus and never been before. Ordered chicken kebab and mixed kebab which were delicious. Also given complimentary pita bread and dips/olives etc which was a lovely touch. Also Turkish delights after our meal, again complimentary. Waiters were great and very attentive and friendly. Chef also came out to say hello . We will definitely revisit. Great value for money!!Only one small issue was when we checked our bill, we had been overcharged but this was quickly rectified and sincere apologies given by 2 members of staff.
