It is extremely difficult to find authentic Mexican food in Pangasinan province, when it's offered by a restaurant, many a times it's prepared with a slightly sweet tasting twist. And Silantro is no exception. Yet when Silantro first opened over 5 years ago, I found Silantro interesting that despite its "Filipino-Mexican menu", it serves no beans at all, whether re-fried or whole, I really enjoy their Rib Finger and Macho Lucha steak, yet I've had to ask the waiter to re-heat the mashed potatoes which arrive cold or lukewarm. If I ordered any dish with a fillet of Mahi Mahi fish in San Francisco, California, it would easily cost over US$ 18.00 (â±900), yet for less than $ 4.60 (â±230), one may order a very delicious Grilled Mahi Mahi fillet served with Spanish style rice. If you're looking for spicy, have the beef Salpicado. I don't believe there's anything bad tasting on the Silantro menu, and it's one reason Silantro has become a booming restaurant chain enthusiastically endorsed and partnered by the Ayala Malls group! Congratulations Silantro!

The staffs are very approachable and friendly. The food was served fast but the foods are average for me. They have ample parking space for the customers. It is really difficult to make conversation with others because of the live band.
