This is not a fancy place. But the service is great, and the food was so tasty. The pizza, in particular was outstanding! The "12" size is not a personal pizza - it will feed 2 people. The restaurant is small, but the do take reservations.

We were a large group of friends and relative. The service was friendly, the prices were acceptable, space for parking, take out if you want, the food was good. The whole group (17 adults and some kids) said the food was great. To me their pizzas are great.

The restaurant is right across the street from Tryp by Wyndham and close to many other hotels. Pomodoro has an extensive Italian menu, including pastas and pizzas. My wife and I ate there several times and each meal was excellent. The gluten free pasta they serve tastes amazing. The tomato sauce tastes fresh. The pizzas are baked in a wood burning oven. The pizza crust is very thin and crispy.

We had pasta dishes, they were excellent. Staff was very attentive: the waitress saw me shivering (we came in from the rain) and immediately turned down the a/c. A bit expensive (pasta dishes were around 15 $, but can wholeheartedly recommend.

Most particular bar in the center of the city, great prices everyday, best Junk Food in Town, Breakfast and Lunch. Great Spot for Corporate Events and Private Parties. Indoor and Outdoor accomodation.
We stopped by this bar in the middle of a walking tour. It is very unique inside and the staff was extremely friendly. There were also regulars in the bar who said it gets very packed and active on the weekends. It's a great spot for people looking for a 'local' joint with a unique flavor.

Cute little (as in tiny) restaurant serves generous portions but you have to ask for bread. The service was verrryyyy slooowww. Three of us ordered Bolognesa, Pizza Carbonara and Carbonara pasta. My pasta was good but not great by Italian standards. The wine was very good. We lost power in the middle of the meal and it took the server forever to find a candle and light it. When the power came on, instead of leaving us with the charming atmosphere of the candle, he took it away only to bring it back again when the power went out. Hmmmm.

Of course we are not able to travel without pining for Italian. Stepping off the cruise ship with a tour of Old Panama for an afternoon gave us the chance to meet Manuela (from Italy no less). Her chef was getting prepped for the typical late evening meals and we just wanted a pizza so as Pizza is the main ingredient of Italian fare, he created two very tasty pizzas along with a large pitcher of Sangria. We were well stuffed and tipsy as we strolled out the door with satisied smiles. Truly a pleasant surprise and yes, better than the ship food.

My two kids (both teenagers ) and husband visited last night after reviewing on trip advisor. It is located in the old city of Panama. Beautiful old stone building, great vibe, and beyond the ordinary pub food! We had wings for appetizers that were delicious that came with wedge spiced fries that were creamy on the inside and crusty on the outside! We ordered pizzas for mains, they were open to creating a half and half option for sharing. Crust was thin, and the taco chicken, the pepperoni and veggie were all excellent! We tried the craft beers too which were great! A great find in a beautiful part of Panama City!
