Reviews on Fusion food in Panama City, Panama Province, Panama. A diverse multicultural city of almost 1.3 million, Panama City offers a lot more than an up-close view of the Canal. Shantytowns slink up alongside shiny high-rise condos. The Old City is an atmospheric labyrinth of churches, plazas and palaces. Fifteen miles from downtown Panama City, Soberania National Park is an excellent destination for hiking and birding. For a fascinating look at the canal, take a taxi or local bus to Miraflores Locks Visitor Center and look down on the traffic below.

I ate a ceviche, lomo saltado and 3 Panama beers and it cost 51 usd.the food was not authentic Peruvian/ and very ordinary in taste.the service was OKthe ambience was OK.The hostess was super rude though.Overall, I do NOT recommend. Will never return. Save yr money!

There is a new girl in town. Discover all the secrets Miss Cho holds and taste the magic of the Japanese Fusion Cuisine.
Well, I applaud them an outstanding executed design and atmosphere. Even made me forget I was in a strip mall once I got inside. However as usual in Panama , everytime we get excited about a place that seems to be transcending the city, the same thing happens( food was nothing WOW). Not sure if its the lack of accessiblity to fresh good quality ingredints or lack of good chefs.Maybe a little of both.

Aki is a Japanese fusion style restaurant. It offers a variety of Japanese tapas, sushi & main courses, located in a popular bar area in Casco Viejo. We work with local fisherman, buying fresh everyday to ensure the best quality.
My husband and I loved our Tuesday night at Aki. The Sake mojitos were so delicious and the food was yummy. Aki was also hosting a fun "trivia night" which was a great way to talk to other tables and make friends. The atmosphere was fun yet our dinner was intimate and enjoyable. The servers were nice and the owner was very attentive. Aki was a highlight in the neighborhood of Casco. We can't wait to go back again.

Excellent interpretation of traditional, yet modernly presented Japanese cuisine. Great flavours, nice presentations, good service, contemporary-chic settings. Spicy edamame: to lick your fingers! Outdoor space was not available due to bad weather: we will go back for dinner to enjoy the stars ;)

The restaurant was recommended to me by the hotel I was staying at (Toscana Inn). The restaurant was about 100 metres away from the hotel. The meal I had (surf and turf) was totally amazing. Very fresh, tender and delicious. I didnât realize Peruvian food was so rich with flavour!!!

Very good all round... greeted at door... Barman and barmaid well trained and knew their stuff ... free amuse bouche delightful... lamb starter excellent ... short rib main course very good but a little expensive for what it is... friends dishes superb....waitress very good... was well versed although she would be superb if she improved her english... ....Italian chef came to our table, a good sign because he knows he puts out good food and not afraid to face the public.. ! I would give it 5 stars if... they improved on simple things like... stairwell up to restaurant needs to be cleaned up and decorated, it looks scruffy... more attention to bathrooms... not quite up to standard .. had to dry hands with toilet paper.. I would put it as best restaurant in Casco viejo because of food quality and service... I will definitely return.Dear dpmmmm,Thanks very much for your balanced and fair review. Dress code: Smart Casual Note: No shorts, flipflops, or certain sandals allowed in the main dining area, may be allowed subject to availability at the terrace area.
The food lacks nothing to be desired. It is excellent. We tried different dishes and all of them were perfect. The service is impecable. Only problem, Thursday, Fridays and Saturday nights there is a DJ with a very high noise level which goes against any attempt to enjoy a nice meal and conversation. So if you like peace and quite, avoid those time slots

We were looking for a rooftop bar with food. Our taxi driver suggested Casacasco. What a delightful afternoon we had despite the passing shower. We were served by Mauricio and Diana. The drink suggestion and the food suggestion were perfect. Exactly what we were looking for in local cuisine. We then left and walked around the city, but we had to go back for one last visit. This place is a must stop for exceptional service and oh and the view.Oh! What a nice visit you made us, thank you for sharing these moments with us and for your recommendations. Come back soon â¤
