We booked 1 week for 3 person and paid all inclusive $770. Upon arrival we were shocked. The place is completely neglected. None of the free activities like Yoga, painting, etc were available, everything else was super expensive and a scam. The food was actually the worst we had aver seen (see pictures) and super little. Gabage and neglected construction material all over the place. Buildings and sport areas are in complete disrepair. Mosquito nets had the big holes. Internet was super slow and is just available at the bar. No electricity at night. The manager started drinking beer at 9 am and that's how the entire place is managed. Outrageous. We left after 3 days and are still waiting for the promised refund.

It’s a cool place to stay with a great staff and cool roof top bar!! The hostel was also very close to some very good restaurants and was walking distance to some attractions. The staff was also very kind and helped me arrange my taxi to the airport. Negative: the base of the rooftop bar and near by night clubs will shake you to your bones. It’s very loud at night

With a reputation as a “heaven on earth,” Playa Venao has transformed from a wild beach town to a go-to destination. Stretches of white sand, candy-colored houses, and a surfer-bohemian vibe make Playa Venao the perfect setting for seekers of tranquility and bliss. Here, like all of our locations, we go out of our way to help you experience all the awesome activities Venao has to offer. Whether you want to zip-line through the jungle or explore the hidden islands, we’ve got you covered. Selina Venao is perfectly positioned to capitalize on one of the best surfing spots in the world. Here, happiness comes in waves. Stay in our dormitories, standard, private, or deluxe rooms. Come for the outdoor pool and water sports galore at this jaw-dropping setting. Need a break from the water? Zip-line through the jungle or explore the hidden white-sand islands of Isla Iguana nearby.
Really bad experience at Selina’s new years eve event: Two different bouncers at the event’s entrance wouldn’t let us in after their front desk office sold us 5 tickets (total of $500+) because of their own miscommunication regarding the right color of their access bracelets. Most people were wearing yellow bracelets, but they sold us green ones and it caused confusion amongst their staff members. The event itself was alright, but managers and staff involved in organizing it definitely get a 1/5 for this. Fix your customer service. Selina is a window to Panama’s tourism industry and visitors deserve better from your company for the high prices paid. I’d recommend other nearby lodges to future travelers instead.

Bambuda Castle is a hostel located just out of Boquete town. The Castle has cozy dorms and beautiful private rooms, a bar, swimming pool, jacuzzi and rock climbing wall. The bars will keep the cold drinks flowing while you enjoy the heated swimming pool or relax in the hot tub. You can book all your tours and transportation at the hostel and our friendly staff are determined to make your stay fun and comfortable.
It’s an amazing place, I would say the best place in Boquete. Everyone I nice, there’s an amazing environment, their food is AMAZING honestly, great prices and the rooms are incredible. I would definitely come back 100 times. The staff is the best staff I’ve seen, I can’t wait to visit their lodge in Bocas del Toro. If you have the chance to come, please do you won’t regret it. Loved it!!!

Panama House offers our guests a high standard of customer service. Our hostel is equipped with kitchen facilities, Internet, parking, laundry room and much more…making your lodging experience…Unforgettable!
I don't like writing negative reviews, but I feel like I need to let others know what to expect at Panama House B&B. We were just here for one night before leaving Panama but in that time we came across dog poop on the floor of the B&B not once, but TWICE. And I don't mean in the outdoor courtyard...one time was in the shared bathroom and the second time was in the shared vending/game area. And this wasn't from a guest's dog, it was the resident terrier. Also, although our sheets were clean the rest of our room and the shared bathroom were pretty grimy. I'm not super picky when paying so little for a place to crash, but this really was below my comfort level. We had booked a private bathroom but they messed up and gave us a room with a shared bathroom. Not a huge deal and they credited us so that we were charged the correct price, so that was good. The woman who checked us in was kind and also booked our airport transfer for the morning, but then the driver didn't show up. When we buzzed the B&B for help (since they had set up the transfer) the man who responded was unnecessarily rude about helping us to get another ride.

Our Spanish School & Hostel in Boquete is located in a charming neighborhood. The cozy and comfortable house has 4 rooms; 3 with two single beds and 1 with a double bed and optional private bathroom. There is also a lush garden with lots of birds and orange trees. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room has a sound system, cable television and DVD. The communal areas in the house, the terrace with hammocks and the garden with it's easy chairs makes this place perfect to relax or to work in style!
I spent almost two weeks at this Hostal, and since I’m traveling alone, it was great how Ricardo, the Chilean manager, put together group meals quite often...pizza, tacos, eggplant lasagna, Chilean food, and our Christmas meal. The dorms are only two beds, I had one unfortunate roommate who snored loudly, that was rough for me since I’m a light sleeper, but luckily he left, and Lucas was fine. It is a bit out of town, but nearly is Morton’s Bakery, which is great, as is The Garden Restaurant. A shared taxi or bus is only $.60, and takes ten minutes, nice walk into town along the River also. I’d recommend this Hostal.

Our Hostel isin the Center of Panama City, in a residential area in front of the new Soho Mall, Calle 50. At only 20 minutes from the international airport you will have a beautiful and Metropolitan city at your disposition. A lot of movement nearby, 5 minutes from Via Argentina or Multiplaza, 10 minutes from Albrook Mall or Casco Viejo (old city), and only 1 hour from the nearest beach.
This place is a dump. The "mini-room" behind the pool is a shed that stank horribly of roach spray. No shower so you walk nude through the place to use the shared one upstairs in a different building. Breakfast is pancakes, fruit and awful coffee with powered creamer. Bring your own. Booked 2 nights but I really want to leave early. They promised a better room upstairs tonight. The open area stinks of acrid smoke from a fire somewhere. Not sure about using the kitchen. Mattress was uncomfortable and squeaked loudly if you move. Somebody else must have worn it out. A girl was seen falling down drunk at 9am on a Sunday, while someone else was swigging from a vodka bottle. Trying to forget their bad night? Moving on to a decent airbnb after this.

Not the best place to stay. We spend there two nights. The rooms were dusty and there is no window to open. The bathroom was not clean. Hair in the drain and a dead cockroach lying there. We had to clean it ourselves.

A charming inn/hotel on the river/ private rooms, private bathrooms, hot water, cable t.v. wifi, internet truly the best location in Boquete.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. We had very low expectations, but it was quite nice and comfortable. We brought our own bed cloth and towels. I will recomend this property for LOCALS rather than other country tourists. We had good meals cooked in the shared kitchen and all other guest were extremly nice and respectful of the Covid-19 precautions.
