The Bar is 200feet out over the water with clear blue waters, colourful live coral, and spectacular snorkelling. There are two swim/tan platforms for customers to utilize with stairs going down into the water to make it that much easier. There are 2 chefs
My wife and I plan a day trip to the Blue Coconut on every trip! We go to Bocas at least twice a year. the Blue Coconut, like many places in Bocas, is laid back, has good food, and drinks'o'plenty! The humidity getting to you? Take a dip in the water while sipping a cool beverage! Hungry? The meals are excellent and presented well. If you are looking for fresh lobster, pull one from the water and have it cooked! We always meet the nicest people here and have a blast! The food is good, the staff is very friendly, and drinks are great!Do yourself a favor and get to the Blue Coconut. A short water taxi ride from town!

Oceanfront, Breezy Lounge, Serving Bocas Freshest Seafood in the Coolest Spot
Went here for a happy hour break and we wished we would have kept going. The rolls were the most flavorless rolls i have ever had. Supposedly were spicy tuna but just had no flavor. Also had the gyozas and they too lacked any sort of flavor. Beer was ice cold so that earned a star.

Six of us ate dinner here. Very friendly Canadian waiter/manager. Group ordered a variety of meals--Pad Thai, pasta with seafood, pasta with shrimp, seafood curry dish--all were excellent. Great setting as well. Only downside was very expensive boat ride from Red Frog Beach--$12/person round trip!

One of the only true beach front spots where you can lay on a day bed and spend the whole day beach front.Full menu of food and drinks, so you can lay in the sun all day and not go hungry (or thirsty!). I probably wouldnât trek from town just to have lunch out here but make an afternoon out of it to really enjoy it Food is good (not great - but good). Service is excellent. Ambiance is great. If youâre surfing at Paunch (or your partner is...) then this is a great spot to stop for after surf food and drinks.

Rustic and quaint, over the water, Caribbean-American fusion, focus on fresh seafood. Meat and vegetarian options always avaible
This restaurant is definitely worth a visit while in Bocas.Fresh and delicious seafood on the menu. It was hard to pick, so we ate a lot and were not disappointed by anything we ate. Or drank for that matter, the wine was great and the margarita was tasty! The restaurant has a great view, so worth getting there before sunset, even if just for a drink out on the wharf. Even on a cloudy day it was great. They had live music too which was a bonus we werenât expecting.

The restaurant is not easy to find, since you have to overpass a street walk in between to another restaurant and a store, but it worths. The French touch of the Chef made a miracle, tranforming the very low quality and standardized local cuisine in something finally really good and fifferent. Unfortunately we had a very limited experience (classic burger and loabster soaghetti) but it was enough to get an overall evaluation. It was the first loabster in Bocas that was not hard to chew because overcooked, but juicy and tasteful, with a perfect French style sauce. And accompanied by al dente spaghetti! It was a pity that is was our last night in Bocas, there were a lot of other inviting recipes to taste. Definitely, the unique restaurant I can really recommend here.

The Firefly serves Thai/Caribbean food in an open air, outdoor setting directly on the Caribbean Ocean. We source locally and organically whenever possible and believe in using ingredients readily available to make up our menu. Because of this philosophy,
We can not say enough good things about this place. excellent imaginative cocktails. The food was creative and original, not your typical tourist so-so food. we wish this place was in our home town because it would be one of our go to places. the gnocci with coconut ginger sauce was amazing! As were the ribs. And all three desserts, but especially the donuts. The other great things about this place is the people who run it Michell and Shaun who were the most friendly and helpful people to us on the island during our week stay. Don't miss this place if you go to Bastimentos. Oh and the yoga classes were really good too!

Skully's is a beach front Restaurant & Bar with a great variety of food, good vibes, ice cold beers and drinks and a seaside swimming pool! We are waiting for you to join us! Don't miss it...
Skulls is nice because it is off of the beat and path but I was disappointed. For some reason I thought they would have cheap Panamanian food. It was all typical US food and expensive. A hamburger is cheaper at playa tortuga. The atmosphere reminded me of a biker bar in the states but on the beach. It just wasnât my cupOf tea.

I have tried all the dishes....still can't choose my favorite...the fish with escabech, the fish sandwich, the octopus, the jerk, OMG the jerk....oh...I can't forget the best coconut rice and beans of the island. The Bragadat ...Im getting hungry again just by thinking on this food.Amazing and unique. Don't miss the opportunity.Thank you very much for your comment. The Buena Vista Bar & Grill has been a staple in Bocas for over 22 years. It is located over the water in downtown Bocas (Isla Colón). It is open daily from 7:30am until 9:30pm for breakfast, drinks, starters, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and wraps as wel
We visited Buena Vista twice while in Bocas for a dive vacation. I really enjoyed the curry dish and my daughter enjoyed the burger options. Great place and good service even in a large group. Our friend is vegetarian and he had a dish delivered with chicken in it. The staff was so amazing at handling the situation and even gave him a free drink. Really nice place with plenty of inexpensive or more elaborate options.
