Unwind. Relax. Rest. Descanso, a newly refurbished, completely reimagined men’s resort in Palm Springs, featuring spacious rooms accommodating the needs of discerning guests.
Just one night on our way from Sacramento to Phoenix, it was such a wonderful stay. We actually booked for a week in November while there we loved it so much. Great location, don't want to drive? Take the complimentary bikes out and enjoy Palm Springs.

Let your California dreams flourish at vibrant V Palm Springs, a modern oasis at the foothills of the San Jacinto mountains. Lounge at the poolside cabanas, encircled by luscious palm trees, and treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail from Elixir. Dip your feet in the crystal-clear pool while soaking in the exciting atmosphere. In the mood to explore? Venture out to Palm Canyon Drive and make your way through mid-century modern boutiques, welcoming pubs, and colorful art galleries. As evening falls, sip on a cold beer while dining al fresco at GiGi’s (we also recommend the tacos at breakfast time). Watch the sunset from your cozy space and plan out your adventures for tomorrow.
Great for people wanting to party. Live DJ at the pool. Poolside bar. Not a place for a quiet getaway. You can here the music inside your room. Room floor needed cleaning and food prices were too high.

The hotel was fabulous and great value for money. Lois at check in made us feel extremely welcome as did Nelson and the rest of the staff. The rooms are tasteful with large tv screens, modern furniture, hairdryers etc. The pool area is clean and has some really lovely chilled music playing. We'd highly recommend staying here. Thanks L3.

The Inn at Palm Springs is the first hotel when you come into town. Studios to a King Suite, all rooms have a pool and/or mountain view. Cruiser bikes, in-room coffee makers, microwaves, mini-fridges, a fitness center, and business center are all included. Situated just off Hwy 111 + Racquet Club the property is nestled between the prestigious Little Tuscany area and the Uptown Design District.
Great location, strong wifi, onsite parking, unlimited towels, great choice of free coffee and sodas. Free breakfast at a very popular Rick's restaurant. Microwave and refrigerator and many conveniently located power outlets to charge electronics. Great relaxing atmosphere around the pool. Gym room. Everything is super clean. Absolutely unique colors, furniture, trees, shrubs and waterfall design around the property create an unforgettable experience to stay in your memory for long. Management is very friendly and highly professional. Enjoy while staying in the hotel. You are in good hands.

We stayed at the Cheetah for 8 nights and enjoyed the experience overall. I loved that it was small, boutique-y and had a fun theme. The MCM decor paired with the cheetah theme and colors was a clever way to make over an existing space and create a different vibe. Clever! The room and grounds were clean and the staff was friendly when we needed to ask for something or had questions. There were multiple other guests that we saw in passing but despite that, it was VERY quiet, which frankly I appreciate. This place is not huge - it's like 10 or 12 rooms all situated around the pool. The room we stayed in had a cute little no-frills back patio which would have been amazing to relax with a coffee on had it not been for the cigarette smoke seemingly constantly coming from the apartment building behind it (no fault of the Cheetah's, mind you - we just couldn't sit out there for that reason - maybe you won't care). There were 1-2 staff members on site throughout the day, but it was not staffed at night. Not a big deal for us, we are pretty low maintenance guests. You should expect to ask for what you want/need, because nobody is checking in with you day to day and there isn't anyone cleaning up your room while you're staying there. So if you're super high maintenance, needy, or demanding a a guest, this might not be the space for you. They supplied us with vouchers for free breakfast/discount on other menu items at a nearby restaurant which I thought was a great way to work with another local business and offer something nice to guests. Pool is small but clean - we enjoyed a night swim and I regret not using it more throughout the trip. A couple of things that could have improved the stay for us - I couldn't for the life of me get the wifi to work enough to support streaming anything on my laptop (I ended up just using my phone a a mobile hotspot). The shower has STRONG water pressure, and the shower head is mounted at the top like a rainfall shower fixture -- love this in theory -- but the shower head combined with the water pressure ended up being a bit aggressive and could feel a little like a punishment rather than a relaxing moment. We chuckled about it every time we used it. The air conditioner didn't seem to be strong enough to thoroughly cool the room but it certainly tried its best. The bed was a little too soft for us, which is totally personal preference - but the material the (very fun leopard print) comforter was made of was not the best quality and tends to retain your body heat making the room seem hotter. The owners of this hotel own two others right nearby (Art Hotel and Tiki Hotel, neither of which I've stayed in yet), and I gotta say... I love the ideas and creativity put into giving these places a makeover, a fun vibe, and a new life. The pros outweigh any cons, for me, and based on this experience I'd definitely book again or try one of the other two.
