Inhabited since the year 1000, Aruba is an island rich in history and culture. Eagle Beach is an idyllic Caribbean beach, with white sands and turquoise waters, and is frequented by water sports enthusiasts. Palm Beach, on the island's west side, offers perfect swimming conditions and powdery sand. Those more concerned with conditions under the waves won't want to miss the wreck of the torpedoed tanker Pedernales, a popular diving site. Aruba is only 20 miles long, thus easily explored by bike or moped.

This was our first trip to Aruba but will not be our last. Our family has travelled multiple times per year to the Carribean and so we have seen many nice places. This has a great combination of great beach and great hotel but the boardwalk running in between the hotels and beach offers many dining and bar options so you do not feel like you are held hostage at the hotel. Cabs are very easy to get at affordable prices and a great island to explore. My only negative is the water in front of the hotel is not as pretty as Turks and Caicos or Cayman and there are many boats anchored in front of the hotels which distracts from the experience.......but overall a great place. we asked every cab driver we rode with to rank the hotels and all seemed to put the Hyatt first. based on quality of the property and convenient loacation to everything, I cant disagree. If you go, there is a website to reserve palapas in advance. People that have been there before know to reserve them in advance so even if your room says "best available palapa", if you don't reserve in advance, best available may not be very good.

Was going to book for my family which includes a 10 year old and was told they are no longer accepting children under 12 for new reservations but are honoring existing reservations. I think this is a very important change that I wanted to share and unfortunatly means we are looking else where.

Welcome to Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, a beachfront hotel overlooking the stunning Caribbean coastline. Enjoy an unforgettable getaway or family vacation at our Palm Beach resort with tropical activities and your favorite luxuries. Spend sunny days at two zero-entry pools, or indulge in a massage at the oceanfront spa. Play the slots and table games at our casino, or learn to scuba dive at the PADI Dive Center.
This Hilton Aruba Resort was wonderful. First off, the staff (and people here in general) were very friendly. The towel/palapa reservation station staff were also very friendly. The spa staff were also great (I recommend Gloria if you take the relaxation massage). In terms of the grounds, it's very open air and clean with plenty of places to have your own space. I went for a long walk and walked past the Riu where it looked very crowded where people are basically on top of each other. That wasn't what I was looking for in terms of social distancing and relaxing so the Hilton was great at giving people enough space. The beach here is awesome! Turquoise waters, easy to go swimming, and right next to a diving/sailing/snorkeling shop which is very convenient. Usually, convenience does not matter to me when I take a vacation, but I have to say the Hilton location is simply the best. Regarding Palapa rentals, this is a must if you sunburn easily and still want to enjoy the beach. There are some reviews on here that mention $50 and waiting in line to reserve one. However, do yourself a favor and reserve them in advance online for $20! I reserved one for each day for three days in a row. There is a service charge of $3 per day for a $20 palapa. What I did was reserve a palapa on the very end of the row so that my view was still unobstructed (all you have to do is turn your head a quarter turn to the right and you see the beach). If it bothers you to have people in front of you, then the $50 option would be it. I paid $69 for 3 days which to me was worth it. The palapa I had was also right next to the dive shop I mentioned previously and was also right next to the Bread Basket snack/drink shop so you have accessible services right there if you wanted other options. The nice thing is that you can basically set up shop at the palapa and it is yours for the full day. You don't have to worry about going snorkeling with the shop next door and having to re-reserve a palapa. The palapa reservations team was wonderful and will help remove people if they think that they can take your palapa if you step away for a minute (again the staff here are the best!). In terms of beaches, I loved the beach here. Aruba does not have private beaches, so you can walk to any other beach and go swimming and it's not a problem (this is not the case at other places that I have stayed where the hotel monopolizes one beach) so beach access is great. In terms of COVID testing, make your reservation to test the day that you get there. They allow walk ins, but you would have to wait and to me I wanted to be in and out as fast as possible. Again, the option to reserve in advance is highly recommended. Can't recommend this hotel enough if you stay at this one happy island!! I did not want to leave!

This is our 2nd stay in two years and the staff and atmosphere has been exceptional. The staff makes every effort to know your name and make you feel as welcome as possible. We spent some time enjoying the Lobby Bar which has great sushi and a Hibiscus Margarita and the Smoked Whiskey, but the topper was the drink shown below. . . A delicious Espresso martini introduced to us by our hostess Shyre!

The Ritz Carlton has the most amazing pop-up bar run by Jose. Jose is the most creative and thoughtful mixologist. Every day he made me a different drink that was even better than the one before. A mango Mojito, a ginger lime yummy Ness something or other, and a Paloma that would knock your socks off. He’s worth the trip himself!

The difference will be felt the moment you set foot in the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort. The hotel’s unique Dutch colonial-style architecture and Caribbean flair make it a special place. A small hideaway with the luxuries of a large resort, located on the world’s most beautiful beach, Eagle Beach. The warm, friendly, and personalized service along with the finest facilities on the island will give you an unforgettable vacation.
Amsterdam Manor was a lovely stay. My two bedroom suite was spacious, two king beds, two full bath, fully stocked kitchen, living/dining area with futon like couch. The room was immaculately cleaned daily, stocked with fluffy beach and bath towels and Aloe products. Balcony was large and right over Eagle Beach. Staff was gracious. Construction was neither loud or inconvenient. Pool was very nice but small. We are beach folks so it didn’t matter. If you like to spend days at lively and large resort pools it’s not the place for you. . Food and drink at passions was very good. Plenty of lounges and Palpas on beach. A very peaceful stay perfect for friends or families that seek out adventures during the day and want a clean, spacious, peaceful spot to call home.

Enjoy comfort and relaxation at the beachfront or in our garden while nursing one of our tropical cocktails. Or enjoy some local Aruban dishes at our Tulip restaurant. This charming and picturesque little hotel offers you value for your money as well as friendly hospitality. Escape to Eagle beach, voted as one of the best beaches in the world, located right in front of our property. Enjoy the tranquility of our area and what Aruba has to offer!
This is the perfect choice. Rooms are nice, clean, comfortable and quiet. Walk two minutes from your room and you are in the Caribbean Sea. This section of Eagle Beach is one of the prettiest and one of the quieter parts of the beach and on weekends, locals may actually outnumber tourists. Beach chairs are readily available. Breakfast is described as continental, but actually includes bread, fruit, eggs, cheese, meat, vegetables and yogurt. Staff is great, particular Jennifer at the reception desk who let me check in four hours early. Highly recommended.
