Il Forno is a family run business with a new management. At Il Forno we specialise in Roman style Pizza which has a soft but crunchy thin base. We follow the traditional way of Pizza making which does not grant the use of any machinery for the handling of the dough, not even a rolling pin can be used. We do it the old way, by hand! At Il Forno you will find a little corner of Italy where the owner and staff are Italians. To ensure a true Italian Pizza to our customers we import a lot of our ingredients and the local ingredients we use are made by Italians here in Australia.
My husband & I shared a meat lovers pizza which had Italian sausage. Very tasty. For dessert we had a very delicious locally made chocolate Gelati..
Il Forno is a smallish Italian Restaurant upstairs across from the Beach with open shutters. A pleasant breeze on a hot night was very welcome. Worth the visit. Would go again or even get a takeaway.

Fully licensed Neptune's on the Cove Restaurant offers an a-la-carte Waterfront Experience. Fine Dining in a Casual Setting with a Superb Seafood with a twist of the Mediterranean Menu.
Disappointing experience this evening. Whilst the food was good, the meals took an hour to come and the staff simply ducked for cover; not a supervisor in the place. All of the goodwill was lost in a restaurant which is one of the more expensive at Palm Cove. SERVICE is critical or your venue becomes one to avoid.

Food excellent we had tasting plates which weren't on the menu but when requested the fabulous chef Thomas accommodated our wishes. Thanks to Caitlin who was a very attentive Waitstaff and made our lunch an extremely pleasant experience.

A family friendly italian restaurant serving only the best local produce. Italian food with an innovative twist. Enjoy al fresco dining opposite beautiful Palm Cove beach. Dine in or takeaway. Fully licensed bar. Restaurant is available for functions and off site catering.
We stopped here on our way to Port Douglas. It is a lovely setting overlooking the Cove. I thought the prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants at this location.
We ordered 2 chicken salads and they were very well prepared. The service was very good and I would recommend for a nice quiet lunch.

Chill Cafe was really handy during our stay, just across the road from our accommodation. We went here for happy hour (Mates Rates) one afternoon, and lunch another day.
Service was very friendly and quick, and the menu had a huge amount of delicious things to choose from!
Especially good were the lamb sliders, and the waffles. The waffles looked beeeeeautiful and the taste matched up!
Also perfect view across the road right on the beach, can't beat that.

Beach Almond Beach House - modern asian seafood licenced restaurant. Char-grilled seafood, Singaporean chilli mud crab, black pepper mud crab, steaks, chicken, pork belly and vegetarian curries. Open: Mon-Sun 5 pm til 11 pm. Sat Sun breakfast lunch 9am til 5 pm.
Been in Australia for a bit over two weeks now and really wanted some grilled prawns. Happened upon this restaurant just down the road from our hotel. Yes the meal was expensive, but in my humble opinion well worth it. We had several fabulous prawn entrees and splurged on the whole fish. Everything was fantastic and the service was very personal. I only wish I had an other night to steer others in our tour group to a memorable meal before heading out to our next destination.

What an incredible experience! My friend and I enjoyed the 7 course tasting menu with paired wines. It was truly impressive. The service was outstanding and great explanations were given about each course and the wines. The food itself was spectacular. There were such clever combinations of favours and the beetroot kangaroo was a real standout. It wasn’t cheap and I had wondered if the wine pairing for an extra $91 was going to be worth it, but surprisingly it was. I would highly recommend
