Three days in Bethlehem Israel
Reviewed By David SI was volunteering on a farm in the West Bank. Another volunteer told me of a great hostel in Bethlehem - Bunksurfing Hostel. A couple of weeks I found myself unexpectedly in Bethlehem and ended up at Bunksurfing - it was great. It is run by a family of brothers all of whom are exceedingly friendly. I learned a great deal about being a Palestinian from them all. I got to enjoy Palestinian breakfasts. It was wonderful

Our rooms: -female dorm 8 beds (50NIS) -male dorm 8 beds (50NIS) -private room double bed (200NIS) -private room single bed (100NIS ); new bathrooms, big living room, cozy smoking room (with shisha), fully equipped kitchen, and soon you'll also have access to our rooftop where you can enjoy the view over the Old City. We provide lockers, free WiFi, maps, plug-ins and fans in each room, towels, hairdryer, as well as a laundry service (20NIS) and breakfast (for an extra 10NIS). We also offer tours which will help you to get a better insight into the situation of this unique city, as well as a great introduction to the Palestinian culture. As travelers from Asia, we were particularly pleased with the hosts here who provided us useful travel tips and introduced us a reliable taxi driver for our journey in West Bank. We enjoyed the day tours organized by the staff very much! And don't miss the traditional Palestinian breakfast!

Reviewed By DBART1990I stayed in the private room for 3 nights in January and I was overall impressed. The weather in January was cold, and as this is an older building the room was really cold and without heating. However, with sensible dressing and blankets, sleep was fine.

Staff were lovely and friendly , and warm and welcoming. They will do what they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Close to old city, new city centre. We are a hostel in Bethlehem with a relaxed, social atmosphere. We have both dorms and private rooms, a balcony area and guest kitchen located walking distance from the city centre. We offer tours with the West Banks and Israel. Our staff speak Arabic, English and German fluently. We also offer complimentary traditional breakfast and language lesson

Very friendly and trustworthy hosts in quite a basic but adequate dormitory with double room option. A very home from home feel with little formality. Both hosts speak good English; the owner being very well spoken.

Reviewed By Anthony TMo is incredible person - his place is a must-stay if you're traveling to Hebron. His place is right across from the University of Hebron, so it's always easy to make your way back to. He's the most welcoming guy, is really easy going, and is happy to help you navigate Hebron if you want. To stay with a local Palestinian is great enough, but Mo just might be the nicest, coolest person I met in Palestine. Would highly, highly recommend, for people of all backgrounds.
