I would admit that I am no expert with it comes to noodles. I am not sure what set one apart from the other. However, as for the taste of their chao long I liked it. The broth did not meet my expectation for level of spiciness bu there is always chili's available.

Vietville is about 12 kms from the center of Puerto Princesa so we don't often go here. The food is good and the price reasonable but don't drink too many beers as we have to drive home.

Rene's Saigon

Visited the place because of the reviews on Tripadvisor. Was expecting more .... we ordered Beef Pho, Shrimp Pho, Pork Pho, fresh vietnamese rolls, fried spring rolls, tofu and their french bread with pork. The noodles in the Pho weren’t that cooked (a bit hard n stuck together). The Vietnamese fresh spring rolls and fried spring rolls were ok. The french bread with pork filling too was good. Also the saucy tofu dish.Their coffee was the best among what we ordered. I would recommend them using clear coffee cups for the Vietnamese coffee to further appreciate it. Also maybe use better-looking bowls for the Pho?I’m sorry i was expecting more from this resto.

It was a very pleasant surprise to find a Vietnamese of this quality in the area near Puerto Princesa airport. A place with a few tables where to eat genuine Vietnamese food well cooked and at a good price. Highly recommended!

The food was okay, nothing to write home about. But the general experience was miserable, thanks to the staff who couldn’t muster a smile, seemed royally cheesed off the whole evening, and I could barely hear what drinks they had through all the sighing and eye-rolling. Never experienced anything quite like it
