Stayed 3 nights after an Easter weekend in Montpellier - loved the beautiful rooms which all have views of the beach, garden and ocean. All the furniture is impeccably chosen with high end amenities - heavenly scents, coffee machines, sun/shade terrasses… the food is of perfect quality like in all establishments owned by the Costes - sexy ambiance in the bar and restaurant area with balance between green vegetation and blue sea… the buffet breakfast is the most enjoyable way to start your day at the pool, beach or spa - my friends liked the hot jacuzzi while I loved swimming in the sea - immaculately groomed by the attentive service. I only ventured once in town but frankly the best is to stay in this hotel: thank you for a perfect stay! (It’s also only 10 minutes from the international airport)

Situated between the sea and the lagoon, on the beach of Palavas les Flots, Le Grand Large Bord de Mer offers modern rooms overlooking the sea. The air-conditioned guest rooms are equipped with en suite facilities, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi internet access. Some also have sea views. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace with sea views. Guests can sample cuisine a la plancha in the hotel restaurant and sit facing the sea to savour fresh seafood. Le Grand Large Bord de Mer is just 5 km away from Montpellier - Mediterranee Airport, a 20-minute drive from the railways station and a 10-minute drive from both the Park & Suites Arena.
This was a beach hotel with a good view so close to the beach right across the street. Location was excellent. Good rooms. nice balcony. Good breakfast. The room was supposed to be for 5. It had two singles and a queen bed in another room as well as a couch. We told them that one of our children could sleep on the couch. We were fine with that. They went out of their way to bring up a fold out bed for us. They wanted to make sure that we were okay.

Brasilia Hotel is located in front of the sea in Palavas Les Flots, nice fisher's village on the mediterranean coast, with a wonderfulview, only 10 minutes from Montpellier and the Airport. The hotel get disabled room and rooms up to the sea with private terraces.
Spent short week in area. Chose room with view of the beach. Not disappointed. Room spotlessly clean. Nice balcony with direct view of beach. Staff friendly, souriant, aimable, helpful. Breakfast brought to room is an option. Croissant, pain, fromage, yaourt, etc. Copieux. Pleasant restaurant as other option for breakfast with good choices including fruit, cereal and eggs boiled to your liking. Easy access to main road. Airport a short distance away. Parking plentiful smack in front of place. But this is NOT high season. Will definitely come back.

This hotel is located right next to the beach but you cannot really see the beach from it. My room was decent and I even had a cute terrace on the beach side but I could not see the beach. Staff was ok and there was a parking right in front. The walk to the beach is very short but the check out time is earlier than in other hotels. The design is quite ok but nothing more than basic. Being close to the beach is the biggest asset of this hotel.

Hotel Les Alizes is situated in the best location. You have the beach in front of you and behind you all the shopping possibilities, including the restaurants and bars. The Room is big enough for 2 and was very clean. Really a great hotel, if there was not that one issue during the check-in. We arrived at the hotel around 1pm, there was no soul around. All doors closed, the hotel restaurant was dark. So we rang the bell few times, nothing happened. So we went to chill at the beach and waited until 3pm for the official check-in time. Still no sould around. So I called the number which was provided in my booking confirmation. There was a girl on the phone which didnt speak english at all. she tried to tell me I could come back in the evening for the check-in. So I made it very clear, that we are standing in front of the hotel right now and we want to check in NOW. So she came after 10 minutes with her other teenage friends which were all around the age of 14!!! it was really the worst and unprofessional checkin-in I ever had in my whole life!! So I hope there was a good reason why a bunch of teenagers were managing the check-in. Or else I really recommend the owners to consider an another professional solution.

If I only spoke of the staff, this hotel is the most friendly, client-oriented hotel I've stayed in since Hawaii and I would give it a 5+ The rooms are clean and relatively newly done and the air-conditioning is well placed over the door in the little corridor in front of the shower room, meaning it doesn't blow directly on you into the main part of the room. On the other hand, there is no elevator. And while I don't mind running up & down 2 flights of stairs (it's a bit like home), it's very hard lugging up and then down a heavy suitcase. And there are no single rooms. A single must pay the price of a double, again being disfavored for not being part of a two-some. Yet, this room was in fact only comfortable for one, there being almost nowhere to put a large suitcase other than on the floor (giving up walking area) or on the desk. The hanging closet of about 50cm has only one hanger (although the staff will do their best to get you more if you ask) and there are only shelves but no drawers. Its location offers both the best and the worst of all worlds: Just across the street is a miles-long sandy beach; you only need to grab a towel & go. On the other hand, it is more than 2km from the main town area, and which makes for a very long walk there and back with almost nothing between the hotel and the port. Thus some sort of transportation becomes necessary for those who want to go out. But there is, about a km down the road, a bike renting shop which is very friendly. It is well worth renting a bike for your stay to go into town and back comfortably. And the hotel keeps one of its garages special for bikes so no worrying about leaving the bike when it is not in use. Besides, the Herault offers wonderful bike trails along the Lez and in the marsh areas and well worth taking the flat, well-laid-out paths around the area and even into Montpelier. If you have a car, there is parking at the hotel, but then the problem becomes parking in the port area when you arrive. The perfect solution for me was taking time at the beach every day and bicycling into town for at least one meal/day. While I definitely enjoyed my stay and appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, I've taken off a star for room size, the lack of an elevator and distance from the town.
