Wonderful location, easy walking to shopping , grocery stores, restaurants, gelato store, museum. We were there 8 nights. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Quiet, off the road. Can't say enough positive things ! Loved it !! Bathtub was great for soaking underwater camera gear.

Situated on the island of Malakal in the Republic of Palau, COVE Resort Palau is a waterfront oasis designed for adventure and relaxation. Boasting a collection of nautically inspired rooms and suites just steps from the marina and the best dive operators, this adventurous choice in Koror, Palau hotels is ideal for honeymooners, outdoor explorers and groups.
The facilities at the Cove Resort were excellent, and the people are so kind (while being professional). I simply loved the buffet breakfast---the coconut rice was my favourite. I was able to set the air conditioning to a comfortable 28 degrees C (about 82 F) (it was typically 31 outside, even at 6am, and I don't like too much of a temperature shock). Would stay there again so very much! I should add: nice view, nice pool, good restaurant (important for the Restricted Movement phase before the mandatory COVID test). Was very comfortable there.

The Palau Pacific Resort is the Eden's nest of Palau sitting on 64 acres of lush tropical gardens with the great Pacific ocean caressing its pristine white sand beach. This luxury resort features 165 rooms decorated in an island motif setting including amenities of a world class resort.
I did not end up staying at this property, but want to post this review to make sure people are careful with the booking process. I booked for Christmas 2021 via Expedia. It was clearly stated at time of booking that the bookings were fully refundable if cancelled before a certain date. The confirmations also stated this. However, when I cancelled well in advance of the cancellation date, PPR charged the deposit (that was supposed to be charged months before). When I inquired with PPR reservations, they indicated the room was non-refundable. I showed them the confirmation that clearly said the room was refundable. They did not respond. I then went to Expedia, which told me that the reservation was definitely refundable and that I would definitely get my money back. But a couple of days later, Expedia told me the deposit was with the hotel and the hotel was indicating the room was non-refundable. They told me I'd have to address with PPR. (A side note--never book through Expedia unless you have no choice. They do not stand by their customers and add an extra layer of bureaucracy. I think there are many people waiting for refunds from Expedia.). I reached out again to PPR with no response. I then went the nuclear option, disputing with the credit card company (which was completely useless and gave me an excuse to cancel this AA Platinum Mastercard after 20 years of grinning and bearing it), contacted the Palau tourist association in both Palau and my home country, started posting reviews warning people on all possible sites, and tracking down the name and email of a manager through a crafty Google search. It wasn't until I was able to reach the assistant manager that I was able to make some progress. To her credit, she was super responsive and was able to determine fairly quickly that there was a communication issue between PPR and Expedia. My sizable deposit of a couple thousand dollars was finally refunded to my card. I have heard great things about Palau and about PPR, and do hope to visit someday. But it was a huge hassle having to spend multiple hours trying to resolve this with PPR employees who were completely non-responsive and dismissive. If not for me finding the assistant manager's contact info online and tracking her down, I don't think I ever would have gotten my money back. Her assistance is why I have given a 3 rating instead of a 1.

Sea Passion Hotel is located on Malakal island, in the state of Koror. We are a small boutique hotel with 75 rooms available. We offer a variety of rooms for different types of travelers, and we cater to guests from different continents from all over the world.
I experienced excellent and efficient customer serivce from the staff at Sea Passion Hotel. I was booked to travel to Palau to attend a Conference and had to cancel at the last minute, albeit with good reason. The management at Sea Passion Hotel were both gracious and understanding and cancelled my reservation at no charge. Addionally I was very impressed by the prompt responses to messages throughout the reservation process. The reservations team provided information and offered assistance to facilitate airport transfers and logistics at the time of booking. I would like to convey my sincerest appreciation and thanks to the management and staff. I also would like to commend them for promptly responding to my messages and the kind courtesies extended. I had colleagues who booked at another hotel in the area 'West Plaza' who did not experience good service or facilitation. I highly recommend Sea Passion Hotel and can't wait to visit when next I travel to Palau! A heartfelt Thank You!

MORE PATIENCE perhaps :D The staff are doing EXCELLENT JOB. especially the Restaurant staff. I don't know why but they look very happy every time I'm in the restaurant. KEEP IT UP! your Boss must be proud of you!

Palau Plantation Resort is a South Pacific hideaway offering travelers a wide selection of traditional styled cabins, cottages and villas surrounded by the natural beauty of a tropical paradise.
This could potentially be a nice, secluded resort but we found it to be in need of renovating, repair, and improvement. The rooms were ok with small balconies. Mattresses were fairly comfortable but blankets needed to be replaced. Bathrooms were the nicest feature with a nice shower and an array of goodies like travel hairbrushes, toothbrushes, and travel body towels in addition to shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Everything seemed clean. The door locks were very flimsy but security did not seem to be an issue. There was a set of perhaps 25 steep stairs that had to be climbed in order to reach the level where the rooms were located. No easy feat slugging suitcases. Outside, the pool seemed unused and not especially clean looking. There were no chaise lounges, umbrellas, or anything around the pool at all, giving it a closed down, vacant appearance. There were three rattan chairs on a sunporch but they were broken and uncomfortable to sit in. The entire place felt empty to us. We rarely saw or heard any other people there. Special note: this is not a place for anyone with difficulty walking or climbing stairs. The walkways are mostly stone (the bigger ones that are sharp and hurt your feet too much to go barefoot) and rolling luggage on them is going to damage the wheels for sure. It is also a good 15 minute walk from town, which made it inconvenient to grab a meal out (we never ate at the small restaurant there and didn't ever see anyone use it). There is a hotel shuttle which only runs in the late afternoons and evenings. We had friends who stayed at the hotels in town and thought they would have been a better choice.

Communication was smooth, the house was spotless and cleaned/tidied and monitored on a daily basis (not even a single little gecko, which are prevalent everywhere in the island) got in. The owner/her attendants came daily to tend to their little hydroponics garden and tidy up. Very, very nice people and Edee, the host, is such a beautiful person, inside and outside. She made me feel welcome from the start. She also offered pick-up and drop-off at the airport for a fee, and came to meet me upon arrival at 3 am, which was so kind of her. She really went out of her way to make sure I was safe. Facilities were nice and very comfortable, with everything you needed to cook and do the dishes. Toiletries in the bathroom were also a big plus. WiFi was reliable super-fast (I was able to do remote work after diving, which was a true blessing, and ideal for a remote vacation!). Main road/downtown Koror was just a short walk away, and you could go to the local mall or check out two large supermarkets to stock up. Don't forget to visit Edee's salad bar if you feel like eating out!

I stayed at Lehns for one week in January 2020. The place is budgeted for the cost conscious traveler, which is great as I took opportunity of my time in Palau to Scuba and tour the islands. My room was clean, had hot water, good water pressure, functional refrigerator, and even an operating flat screen television with several international channels. The common area is a great place to relax and wind down at the end of the day. The icing on the cake is the manager and most of the staff. I fell ill after one of my dives and needed to go to the hospital and Natalie drove me to the hospital when no taxis were responding to our calls. Mind you this was almost at midnight. I felt sincere concern from her regarding my condition and that type of caring hospitality cannot be faked or easily reproduced. Vicky, Lulu, and Bianca were some staff members who went out of their way in making my stay an unforgettable one. I highly recommend Lehns to anyone searching for a comfortable, safe stay in Palau.

Arrived Koror late night, stayed a hotel for one night until boat transfer to Peleliu next morning. Simple, utilitarian hotel---which is exactly what we needed. Van shuttle from airport waiting for us, check-in easy, good adjacent restaurant for breakfast, room clean and in good condition. No frills hotel provided place to stay while en route next location.
