Very hidden place inside the residential area. Shuttle tram/bus provided. Restaurant cum sort of vintage museum. Very popular with tourists. Required you to eat before walking through the exhibits. Ordered steam fish with seafood sauce. We tot it was a whole fish but out came the slices of fish without any sauce but thick ginger slices and lemongrass on top of the sliced fish

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon this indoor outdoor restaurant hit the spot My choice of slow roast duck and roasted rosemary potatoes far exceeded my expectations. Another nice thing about this restaurant is that it is dog friendly. Service was up to normal Thai standard!
What adverse comment would be that this restaurant is pretty much aimed at a Thai clientele (I was the only foreigner there) and many are not that knowledgeable about wine so as a winery why not pitch your prices to attract more drinkers. 300 baht a glass is far too high for a local wine, but guess it's all about profit.

This place is outstanding. Great selection of beers. Food is excellent. I love the tuna salad. Staff and owners are very internationally minded. Give it a try. It's on the left on the road from Pak Chong to Khao Yai National Park. Google it for exact location.

Step out of Thailand and right into the Old West, have your lunch or dinner while dining in a covered wagon. There is plenty of authentic cowboy decor and memorabilia throughout, you really feel like you are in Texas. Great steaks made to order with all the trimmings, Thai and Italian food, with a large selection of beer and wine. The restaurant offers a very relaxing, comfortable and romantic atmosphere, you really get the feeling you are in the old west.
This restaurant was close to our hotel and colleagues had been there before. Place was great and menu good. Service by one girl who tried her best was appallingly slow, Food came out slowly and was in some cases poor . Our Thai food was...MoreWe are so sorry if the restaurant was busy and you had to wait. If the Thai food was "OK" what did you order that was "poor". We would like to know so we can improve that item and give you a free return visit.

A friend recommended this Gold Plus for lunch while we were visiting Pak Chong. From the road, it didn't look much until you are in the grounds of the restaurant. It has a nice " secret garden" ambience and a peaceful relaxing feel about it. It has the capacity to cater for large groups but could prove to be a challenge for wheelchair trying to move into the restaurant and the comfort rooms. Ample parking space and easily located on the main highway.
The menu was vast with both Western and Thai choices. We started with drinks of grape juice all around with was refreshing but pricey . The beef tongue stew was sumptuous but rather small portion, the Rib eye steak was average, slow to arrive and cold but the price was rather on the expensive side. The green curry was watery and could be better. The Southern curry was delicious . We all loved the grill meats and sausages served with salad which quickly cleaned off the plates. The Chicken Briyani was excellent which was moist, succulent and lip smacking delicious , so much so some of us ordered take away. Available too , were beef jerky if you are into this snack - wee bit hard and salty - this restaurant speciality, it seems. We all came away with at least a few packets each .
Available on sale were grape juice bottles in cartons which are available elsewhere at more reasonable rates, preserves and jams and beef jerkey snacks . Dessert cakes in the display case looked rather lonely and dry .
Service was attentive and efficient. Most food items came quick and temperature was hot when served excepted the steak. The waiter was knowledgeable enough to recommend popular items. Will recommend to others to try this place .

Since 1998 Krua Khao Yai (ครัวเขาใหญ่) has served popular Thai cuisines from fresh ingredients from local suppliers together with our own selected smoked pork ribs range. Considered to be one of the local delicacies, it is a place to visit to experience "Khao Yai's local taste".

Located on Thanarat Rd. (KM 13.5) it is conveniently a popular lunch break among tourists but we are opened throughout the day. We have a number of friendly English speaking staff ready to provide you service.
Went in Dec to try out their pork ribs. And it was delicious. Food are great and not pricey. Service was great too, although have to wait for a while because we went on a Sunday and it was crowded, but worth the wait. Will definitely return again.

We are a small family run bar and restaurant in Khao Yai. Very friendly with air conditioned bar on the ground floor and restaurant upstairs. We are located at Veneto Piazza, next the 'Palio Khao Yai'. Our menu remains the same as our last location, great Pizza's, English and Thai food at reasonable prices, not to mention the Ice Cold Beer!!!
I think consistency in life is the way to be successful at everything. And for a restaurant to receive a number one TripAdvisor rating they have to be fairly consistent. One or two 2 -star ratings here and there can really affect your 5 stars. I certainly will not be the one to vote this restaurant under the five stars it deserves.
As we were staying in Khao Yai, we wanted to find a good restaurant within 10 km of where we were. We choose this restaurant after reviewing the menu and the fact it was the number one rated TripAdvisor restaurant in Khao Yai.
I decided upon the seafood pasta dish while the other folks in the dinner party had the green curry chicken, the massaman curry chicken, and the Larb Gai. We settled on Grey Goose vodka and soda waters (4 total) and a glass of red wine and white wine. I will say the house white wine was not our favorite and being wines snobs from the US, with a new appreciation of French, Australian, and South American wines, we easily labeled the white wine as not very good. The red table wine was drinkable and was acceptable at 140 Baht per glass. The Vodka tonics were well presented as we had vodka and added our own soda water for our own strength. They were extremely reasonably priced also.
We started off with a bruschetta appetizer that was a fair portion for 4 people and the topping was full of garlic tomatoes and basil along with a little bit of sugar which I was on not accustomed to but it made for a palatable appetizer. The seafood pasta was extremely good. A perfect proportion of olive oil and cherry tomatoes that were fresh along with shrimp that was easily discernible as fresh and not frozen. The green curry had a decidedly Witches Brew recipe and it was very good as was the massaman curry. My friend commented on his larb gai (a finely chopped, but not minced, chicken) that it was probably one of the several best he has had since living in Thailand for the last year-and-a-half. That says a lot coming from somebody who has traveled all over Thailand and Southeast Asia.
The staff was friendly and service was was quick for individually cooked dishes. As a nice added touch the cook, who I believe may have been the owner, stopped by our table and checked in on us and the food.
So, the Witches Brew easily gets a 5 star rating from me in all three of my restaurant 3Fs - Fare, Finance, and Friendliness...the food was very good, you didn't break the bank going here at 1100 bhat per couple, and the staff was very responsive. I would recommend you take time out of your schedule when visiting Khao Yai and stop in for a meal.

The location is perfect both for accessible and views. There is large parking area around which is easily to park. The waitress is welcoming.
My dish is original smoke ribs which is abit too salty. Other dishes of my wife and son eg chicken wings, Wagyu steak are just fine.
