Things to do in Cameron Highlands
This stall is located opposite Ambank and Al Barhkath restaurant (which was closed the entire time I was there) in Tanah Rata. The stalls are just next to a small parking lot area and have malay and indian stalls with this being the only stall serving Indian food. The signage is just outside the shop on the top. They are open for lunch, breakfast and dinner. The shop owner is a friendly lady who the locals call "aunty" and she is well known for her home made dishes and chapathi (indian light bread) which she serves for dinner. The fried chicken is marinated with Jerra (cumin) and tastes excellent. Customers should go early as the food finishes fast.Their nasi lemak is also very good. With the more commercial restaurants serving beer as well along the main road, the locals enjoy the food in this stall as the prices are also much more reasonable and the food in simply out of this world.
Great place to have authentic indian and asian food.

The restaurant contains both north and south Indian foods, western foods and Arabic foods at the valuable cost of price. We telecast all live soccer matches and other sports. We have live band on every Friday and Saturday between 9.00 pm to 12.00 am. Plea
Went there twice, we had a butter chicken, masala chicken, tikka chicken and cheese naanAll the dishes were great, tasted really good and was way worth the price ! And the cheese naan were fantastic! Finally cheese naan with a decent amount of cheese in it ! Definitely the best Indian in Tanah Rata, don't understand why it is so low ratedService was great, quick and they have plenty of good drinks including beers and alcoholJust be aware you have a 6% tax not included in the prices

Best authentic indian and malaysian cuisine at Cameron Highlands. Dine in with us and experience the best dishes.
Dropped by here hungry for lunch, and were not disappointed. Small place, but felt quite local, although they have a full menu in English. We had the lunch buffet which was extensive and really tasty. Fresh lime and strawberry juices to drink were also lovely. Our lunch, but also the menu choices if ordering a la carte were reasonable (<10rm).

Large portion really meant large here, as others highlighted the staff is rather unfriendly, food was good, best to calculate your own bill based on the menu prices as they seem to struggle to correctly bill everything, they look at your plates and try to remember what you had instead of writing it down as normal, generally simple is your friend at this restaurant.

I have eaten here on so many occasion, and the food is average as in any restaurant.HOWEVER THE SERVICE IS SUPER FAST AND EXCELLENT.This time I had "roti telur bawang"and my mum had rice vege and curry.I really wish they would do something about the cleanliness at the handwash area and the bathroom.A white guy was actually blowing his nose and spitting in the handbasin and I decided not to step into the area after he was done!! it was disgusting. The bathroom is dirty old and rotten. Please maintain some hygiene at your premises!!

We went here twice this week. The place is easy to find-off the main road at Tanah Rata. Small eatery with a few chairs and tables. Playing Bollywood and punjabi remixes adds to the Indian ambience. The food was really good- I loved the huge, soft, melt in the mouth chapaaties. The eggplant dish(baingan) was superb as was the Aloo Gobhi. The portion sizes, both small and medium are really good and will fill you up.The Paneer makhani was sweetish and tasty. They served a nice onion salad marinaded in lemon and spices. The curd was thick and yummy and the sweet lassi light and authentic.Service was attentive and prompt. The dishes are freshly made and served without too much of a wait. The Lentils were good too.My husband felt the mutton gravy was very good but the meat could have been softer.Would be good to have a more extensive menu. All in all a homely, non commercial family run Indian joint with a nice feel to it..
